Shamakhi
We begin the morning in the ancient city of Shamakhi, where you'll enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani breakfast in true countryside style. Expect scream-eggs with tomatoes (a local favorite cooked over an open flame), freshly baked tandoor bread, cheese, honey, butter, cream, and piping hot tea. Simple, soulful, and deeply authentic.
Ismailly
As we make our way to Sheki, we’ll take a break in the lush forests of Ismayilli for a tea stop with a local delicacy known as “Three Ears.” Nestled among the trees and mountains, this peaceful setting offers a true taste of the Caucasus — where every breath is filled with the scent of nature and every sip connects you to the land.

He explained everything in a clear and engaging way, making even the smallest details interesting and easy to understand. His knowledge was impressive, and they answered all questions thoughtfully. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I truly appreciate the effort he put into making the tour both informative and enjoyable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great guide.

We had an amazing experience on our Sheki tour, all thanks to our wonderful guide Nazperi and our driver Knyaz. Nazperi was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city. She explained everything in such depth and made the entire journey engaging and memorable. Her warmth and energy truly made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. Knyaz, our driver, was equally fantastic—very professional, kind, and ensured a smooth and safe journey. A special highlight was the amazing lunch in Sheki, which added a perfect touch to the whole experience. Everything was well-organized and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend both Nazperi and Knyaz for anyone planning a Sheki tour—they truly made our trip unforgettable! 🌟

I want to thank everyone at ATI travel for the incredible experience my husband and I had on this tour today. It began with Khadija who made sure that we had the seats we requested on the bus. My husband is 69 and I'm 79, so we knew that a trip of this length would be extremely uncomfortable and unnecessarily challenging if we didn't make our needs known. Thank you Khadija for accommodating us. Next, we want to applaud Naz, our guide. Her professionalism, sense of humor, and extensive knowledge of the area make her a real jewel in ATI crown. She was the guide for the English group, and Kemal for the Russian speaking participants. They worked in tandem like a well-oiled machine, each alternating and sharing their information. Their teamwork was exceptional and makes them a credit to the company. In addition, I want to personally thank her for noticing that my husband's English wasn't good enough to understand her, so she made a special effort to translate as much as she could into Turkish for him. It allowed him to participate and enjoy a tour more than he ever has in the past. Neither of us will ever forget the special kindness she showed him. Last, but certainly not least, was Knyaz, our driver. We left very early in the morning and the fog was so dense you could barely see your hand in front of your face, yet Knyaz handled the situation with a sense of calm professionalism that allowed us to all relax and enjoy the ride. My hat goes off to him because it was a truly challenging situation. The professionalism of all of these individuals far exceeded our expectations and made our experience one that we'll never forget. We actually chose this company because we were told that they were rated #1 on Trip Advisor. We totally agree that they deserve this rating. If you're reading this review because your shopping for the best tour company, stop right now, and head straight to their office. You won't be disappointed.

I didn't have a concept of Sheki before I went, but I thought this place was very far away. It's a four-hour drive from Baku, eight hours back and forth, and then I realized that if it's really necessary to come to Azerbaijan. It's a long journey, but you can see a lot of snowy mountains along the way, and it's a completely different experience from Baku. It's an old mountain town under a snowy mountain, and on the other side of the mountain is Russia. The main attractions are the Han Palace, though small, but the glass-stained windows are really striking and peaceful and beautiful. The other two attractions are the ancient Silk Road stage and the ancient church. Tickets are slightly more expensive after several attractions go up. Each attraction charges foreigners 15 manets. It's equivalent to more than 60 yuan, but the interior is smaller. Also, the tour guide Nasperi, who met on this trip, is a beautiful Azerbaijani woman, very kind and dynamic. English is also fluent. Overall, a very special and satisfying trip.

The trip to Sheki with Seyid was a journey through Azerbaijani history, from Tamerlane through Persian influence to the khanates and the present day. The history of the Caucasus and its neighbors became more understandable and unexpectably clear. Thanks, Seyid, see you next time.

On the trip to Sheki our guide was Aguz. The trip left the most pleasant experience. Besides the tour itself in the city, our tour guide gave a lot of information about Azerbaijan during the bus movement. Answered any questions that arose. And speaking on behalf of my friends who we traveled with, we've learned a lot more about this country. Visitors from Belarus (4 people).
