Meet Your Guides – Our Story
We’re an adventure-loving couple who enjoy hiking, canyoning, skiing, and camping together. After working as canyoning guides near Tokyo, we founded Fujiyama Canyoning Japan in 2024 at the foot of Mt. Fuji. Our goal is to share Japan’s beautiful nature through safe, small-group canyoning adventures.
♂️ Yuki (husband) – Born in Kochi Prefecture, Yuki has years of experience in canyoning, rock climbing, skiing and playing piano. A former competitive swimmer, he guides with calm confidence and a deep love for the outdoors.
️ Misa (wife)– Born in Kanagawa, Misa brings warmth and friendly energy to every tour. Her passion for nature and people makes each trip fun, safe, and unforgettable. She loves snowboarding, cooking, eating and mountaineering.
Original T-shirts (¥3,500, S–XXL, charcoal or olive) are available at the canyon. Pre-order by letting us know your preferred size and quantity.

What To Expect
We try a lava gorge walking, sliding down water chutes and enjoying an epic day of canyoning close to Mt. FUJI! Including great jumping(1m~9m ),rappelling down with using a rope, swimming in a pool with wetsuits, helmet, harness, and canyoning shoes. That’s a good idea and perfect for second timers. The best season is summer(to September). Fuji area offers a beautiful view of canyon's natural scenery. We highly recommend canyoning as an activity here. Tours are closed from December to March during the winter months in Japan. 5.00It was an amazing tour with really nice guides. Beautiful bleu water and nature. We dit a lot of jumps , and absailing, we were allowed to do a lot!! At the and we got macha tea and snacks and presents to celebrate the trip. Would defenetly recomend.

5.00Absolutely unforgettable experience! The tour guides are extremely kind, helpful, fun and accommodating! And they're incredibly skilled and experienced at canyoning! Between the pictures and videos, getting to descent and swim at the waterfalls, and see the nature, this activity is a must if you ever go to Japan. Just make sure you're fully fit and healthy before you go. Thank you guys so much!!

5.00The highlight of our trip! Our group went into this excursion with no experience. We were concerned with the rain but Yuki and Misa were very professional. They quieted all doubts and worries. If you are thinking of taking the leap, do it!

5.00Very good experience, Misa and Yuki are super nice and very serious. They pick you up from your hotel and take you back. We were 6 with different levels and they adapted, it passed very quickly we would have done a little longer, especially as the decor is great. They take photos and videos that they transmit to you as soon as the activity is finished.

5.00Yuki and Misa were great guides who carefully looked after us as we had no previous experience canyoning. The whole experience was great fun and I would do it again. They even went above and beyond to recommend us a nice café to eat at afterwards a train ride away that served great food. Overall an incredible time
