Our Story
We’re an adventure-loving couple who enjoy hiking, canyoning, skiing, and camping together. After working as canyoning guides near Tokyo, we founded Fujiyama Canyoning Japan in 2024 at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
♂️ Yuki (husband) – Born in Kochi Prefecture, Yuki has years of experience in canyoning, rock climbing, skiing and playing piano. A former competitive swimmer, he guides with calm confidence and a deep love for the outdoors.
️ Misa (wife)– Born in Kanagawa, Misa brings warmth and friendly energy to every tour. Her passion for nature and people makes each trip fun, safe, and unforgettable. She loves snowboarding, cooking, eating and mountaineering.
Original T-shirts (¥3,500, S–XXL, charcoal or olive) are available at the canyon. Pre-order by letting us know your preferred size and quantity.

What To Expect
Do you have any plans for summer vacation? Because we have an epic, exhilarating and exciting recommendation for you! Why not try a lava gorge walking, sliding down water chutes and enjoying an epic day of canyoning close to Mt. Fuji! That’s a good idea and perfect for first timers. Tours are closed from December to March during the winter months in Japan. If you would like to take a tour during this time, please consider skiing or snowboarding lessons in Myoko Yodel Snow School Japan. More options available on our official website

5.00This was a wonderful experience through and through! The guides were so incredibly kind and patient for it being myself and my husbands first times canyoning. The area was one of the most unique geological features I’ve seen. Jumping off rocks and seeing waterfalls was incredible post Fuji hike.

5.00Absolutely amazing experience - I was there in the off season, so I was alone and had Yuki and Misa as my personal guides. They did a great job of guiding me safely through the water, and it was incredible to leap into the water! I would definitely recommend Yuki and Misa if you're looking for something exciting and different to do while in Japan!

5.00Superb canyoning trip and a fun one for the family. Not too hard, either, approx 2 hours long. A nice jup of a cliff, some swimming and a little rope spelunkimg by a waterfall. Highly recommended.
