If your ship is late or delayed and you have an early tour, don't panic! We will wait and give you reasonable and sufficient time to get off the ship so that you can still enjoy your tour. Remember to keep our number handy just in case you need to reach us in case of a delay or very early arrival.
You should bring along the following items: bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and cash for lunch, drinks and souvenirs. Drinks on the tour bus are complimentary.
While shopping or at the beach, your items will be secured in the front cab of the tour bus.
If Shopping is part of your tour, once you're finished, we meet at the Liberty Bell in Emancipation Park. Shops close at 1:00 PM on Sundays.
Coki Beach and Sapphire Beaches are free but Magens Bay has an entrance fee of $7.00 per person.
Your Tour Package does not include the beach entrance fee, Coral World entrance fee or any other activity.
Free drinks are provided on the tour buses all day for our passengers.
What To Expect
Godfrey Tours
Godfrey Tours will pick you up at your ship or hotel at and take you shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Once done with shopping, you can board again for a scenic two hour sightseeing tour of the island. Our tour will take you to the Mafolie Hotel to overlook the Bluebeard and Blackbeard's pirate castles, then up to the highest point, the mountain top where you will find the famous rum daiquiri. We'll continue the tour and enjoy the view of Hassel island, Water Island, and the island of St. Croix along the way. We'll continue to Sir Francis Drake seat, (the British pirate) overlooking Magens Bay. Once we get to the beach area, you can select the beach of your choice (Megan's Bay, Coki Beach or Sapphire Beach) and enjoy for another two hours after which we will take you back to your ship on time. Beach entrance fee is NOT included in package price.

5.00Totally worth the price! Did the 6 hour tour which was slightly longer but saw so much. Godfrey is full of information about the island. We were picked up earlier than planned but that was communicated via text the night before. No waiting around as mentioned in other reviews. Plenty of cold drinks for the whole day! Everything was perfect!

5.00Pick up point at havensight needs to be updated, as the area around gate 3 is cordoned off. We had to get in touch to revise the pick up point.

5.00We had switched hotels last minute and the driver was still able to pick us up on time which we really appreciate,The tour guide was very informative and very kind , loved everything about this tour 100% worth it for a very good price !!!

1.00I am saddened by the poor customer service I received today and the disrespectful way I was spoken to by the Godfrey Tours representative. He text me at 2am which I did not see til after 7am that they needed to move our tour time, but I explained we have to work later and needed the original time. He offered to pick us up at 10 and do a shortened tour but we wanted the full experience as that is what we paid for. The manner in which he spoke to me was very disrespectful. He said other customers moved their times and he couldn't pay a driver just to pick us up. Not our problem. Then said another colleague who booked as well for today, didn't have a reservation though she booked and paid and had tickets through Viator as well. He then proceeded to tell me the shops aren't even open til after 10. I asked him why there was an 8:30am tour option to begin with then. He had the audacity to raise his voice at me and then said something about cruise ships not being in, etc. I told him we are not here as part of a cruise. I'm waiting on our refund. First time in St.Thomas, but if service is like this, it will be the last.

5.00This was an amazing excursion! Godfrey was a great tour guide. He provided knowledge while safely getting us around the island. It was well worth the $$$! Snacks and drinks provided. Godfrey made sure to provide time at each stop while making sure we were back on the cruise ship in time.

4.00Well, it was hard to find our tour guide at the port. . He was very informative..Nice person but the time we got back to the Ship was cutting it too close..We all were sweating..I wasnt to happy with that part, .15mins before pull off is not a exciting feeling.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour through Godfrey! We ended up with Lovecab as our driver and he was great! I was so thankful we were chauffeured up to mountain top, as that drive is not for the faint of heart, but we felt safe and secure. Godfrey was extremely informative at the stops and Lovecab was very accommodating, letting us skip the shopping and head straight to the beach. He even gave us the opportunity to view the beach before deciding whether or not we wanted to stay there. We had a group of 7 and all said we would recommend the tour through Godfrey and even do another again!
