Please don’t listen to the bad reviews regarding the tour guide being late. During our mother/daughter trip to St. Thomas, my daughter and I scheduled this tour. Our guide was a half hour late; however, he did text the night before to let us know that he would be starting a half hour after our voucher time. We had a fabulous day… and, we ended up having a full day from pick up at our resort at 10am through drop off close to 6pm. He was so informative throughout the tour and gave us plenty of time to shop for souvenirs and hang out at Magens Bay. Highly recommend it to those who have a bit of patience and do not have set dinner reservations to rush back to. We loved it!

Hosts cancelled our time slot due to not enough people signing up. Offered another time to reschedule or give us a refund, yet heighten options were actually acted upon.

Got a good overall tour of the island with Godfrey tours. Godfrey was informative. Time to shop, tour and then to a beach to swim. Provided drinks and snacks too. Picked us up at our hotel and brought us back. A plus! A real bargain!

1st time to STT, We did the Shop, See, and Splash tour with Godfrey’s Tour. The tour was right around 6 hours. For $40pp, it was worth it. The tour included ~2hrs downtown shopping time, ~2hrs mountain top area, and ~2hrs beach time. Enroute time was tour info also. Godfrey is an excellent tour guide, provided a lot of info. We were picked up at Emerald Beach Resort, no additional fee. I highly recommended this service.

I was never picked up for this tour and no one communicated with me or responded to my messages. I think because I was traveling solo and asked for hotel pick up, Godfrey Tours decided I wasn’t worth their time. They were happy to take my money though!

Very knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. Went above and beyond to make sure everyone was individually taken care of and needs met.

This tour is in an open air bus with about 6 rows. The guide was also the driver. He was very articulate and knowledgeable about the historical aspects of St.Thomas as well as other Virgin Islands. We had a little over an hour to shop downtown, shops were mainly jewelry, souvenirs and some clothing. We found it was adequate time. We then drove up to the top of the mountain outlooks for a spectacular view of the islands and more historic points. There was a half hr to shop in this large shop, heavily tee shirts, larimar jewelry and St. Thomas souvenirs. Banana daiquiris were featured. About a third of the group chose to go to Coki beach which was quite narrow, reported party vibe and covered w chairs. We passed, then a long winding road down the mt. back to our cruise ship. It was 4 hrs and 30 min w/o the beach.

Don't book this tour. Book it directly from the port. It's the same tour, even a bit cheaper and you don't wait for a taxi driver pretending to be a tour guide. I guess Godfrey wasn't available that day and sent us a random taxi driver. We first stopped downtown for some shopping from noon to 1:30. No explanation, just a " go shopping, I'll be back in an hour". He drove us to Mountain top after and again absolutely no explanation. We then stopped at Drake's seat for a picture and the driver came to me and said : "we are going to Sapphire beach now". I told him I wanted to go to Magens Bay, that I had to pick between 3 beaches as it was mentioned and He told me I didn't have to pick and that my tour was a 2 hour and a half tour and that he was nice enough to give me 2 extra hours. I argued a bit stated the tour was supposed to be 6 hour and a half and that if I wanted to pay 7$ to go to Magens Bay it was my choice. He asked everyone on the tour if Magens Bay was OK cuz we needed to go to the same beach. We were back to the ship by 5pm because it was getting dark. My ship was in port by 11am that day and people booking directly from the port were already leaving on tours by 11:15. I waited until noon to get picked up. The tour could have been a real nice and long tour with a better guide who would have switched the shopping to the end of the tour where we could have had dinner downtown instead of taking me to the beach at the end of the tour where the only option was to take us back to the ship. I ended up listening to some other tour guides for some explanations about the island. Let's call it what it was: it was just a taxi ride. Really disappointed. Never again.
