We had a rough start to this tour. We arrived to the pickup location 15 min early, as instructed. Went to where all the minibuses were parked and ours was not there. Then we went to the area where the ships tour busses were parked and checked all of them. We kept asking people if they knew the tour company. No one could help. Finally after 25 min in the rain and wind I decided to go back to the first place and found the bus. Then the driver set up the headsets for us and told us it would start automatically. We did not know there was no live guide on this tour. So we drove for a while with no commentary. Finally I asked the people in front of us if they were hearing something. Theirs was working. So we played around with the control and finally got it to work. There were huge gaps in the commentary. If there had been a live guide I’m sure they would have talked the whole time. We found the driver quite uncommunicative. We got off the bus at the lighthouse in the rain. I asked what were to do. The driver just walked by us so we followed him. Apparently he had to get tickets. At Mt. Aksla he stopped the bus and we got out. He could have pointed us In The direction of the stairs for the good view. Although we saw everything the tour said we would, I think we would have been better with a live guide.

We did not have the opportunity to carry out the excursion as the excursion was cancelled at very short notice by the tour operator. The cancellation reached us only at the excursion possibilities.

Driving around and under the tunnel system was very neat, but the tour van was difficult to find at the start and when we booked we didn't realize that we would literally only see the church. That was a little misleading as we very much look forward to exploring and seeing different churches.

There was very little commentary and driver left us at waterfall while he went back to collect more people then just got taken to botanical gardens and dropped off there. Not as described in Viator!

Location of bus was hard to find. Bus/mini van was not marked with letter to identify and had another travel agent from another company used her phone to contact and find out bus/mini van. Head phones were not working properly and kept repetting in English the introduction. Would not use them again. Sorry!!

Although the translator machine would not work it still was a good excursion. Our bus driver was excellent and I felt bad that the machine would not work for him. He took us to Giske, Alnes and Mt Aksla and that is exactly what I wanted to do. I was happy.

The tour was very good at letting you know where to meet. It was a headset that you wore to hear the highlights. It made a couple stops where you could get out and look around. We had a rainy day so it was nice to be on the bus.

Very disappointing, the lack of interaction and knowledge by the driver who just picked you up and dropped you off at the locations and told us to listen to the headphones, which is you wear hearing aids like me was not useful at all!! The lack of interaction was disappointing especially when exploring such a beautiful destination. It's essential for tour operators to provide informative and engaging experiences to enhance the trip, and it seems like this excursion fell short in that aspect.
