A great way to start your day in Point Reyes. We will start our day with 20-30 minutes of on shore activities as we all introduce ourselves, go over the route for the day, and get familiar with our gear/ boats. Once we are ready to hit the water, we will explore the shorelines and talk about the natural history and flora/ fauna of our area. This tour typically spends the entire time in the boats, but we may get out if we find something exciting.

5.00I just want to say a big thank you to Dallas and Liz for such a wonderful experience at Tomales Bay. They made the kayaking experience so memorable. I had signed up for the 3 hour tour of Tomales Bay. When I reached the launch point, I was greeted with an array of tea, coffee and breakfast pastries. The pastries were delicious and were from a popular local bakery. I was so pleasantly surprised by all of this. Dallas and Liz, the owners of Point Reyes Adventure Co are such kind and wonderful people! I wanted to try out a sit-in kayak and they kindly accommodated my request. They patiently explained everything I need to know and helped me navigate the bay with pointers on how to read the waves and eddies. Their knowledge of the local environment and local history made for a really fun and information filled paddling experience. I hope to do many more tours with them and I wish them all the success.
