This loop is optimized for maximum variety, light walking, and photography, offering a one-day highlight reel of some of Kananaskis Country's most iconic landmarks.
See exactly why this world-class landscape was selected to host the 2025 G7 Summit as you discover a quieter side of the Canadian Rockies. Kananaskis Country offers a rugged, 'wilder' alternative to the neighbouring national parks: quieter trails, less development, and fewer crowds.
On this multi-stop tour we explore turquoise lakes, rapids & waterfalls, and the highest paved road in Canada, deviating from our usual hike-based Kananaskis itineraries to focus on a sequence of diverse, high-impact ecosystems. The ideal choice for those seeking a varied, 'best-of' mountain experience off the beaten track.

The trip exceeded all my expectations. Everything started with an excellent first impression when Russell picked us up right at our doorstep. The clear instructions and well-organized itinerary made us feel comfortable, safe, and excited from the very beginning. That great feeling continued throughout every stop on the tour. He shared valuable insights about each location and guided us at our own pace — we were never rushed, but it never felt slow either. He truly adapted to our rhythm, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The lunch selection was good and more than sufficient, with the added bonus of snacks offered at different moments and hot drinks that were especially appreciated during the coldest parts of the day. Safety was another major highlight. He was always attentive, responsible, and proactive, helping us avoid unnecessary risks. Whenever the path was uneven, he took the lead so we could simply follow comfortably and confidently. We booked the tour in English even though Spanish is our first language, and we ended up having several conversations in Spanish as well — his Spanish is excellent, so I would definitely recommend him to Spanish-speaking travelers. I also saw him speaking Mandarin with other tourists, and he sounded very fluent. I highly recommend Molaris. I’m certain it will be my first choice again for future tours.
