This is a great day out. Guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. The visit to the horse farm was great. Great family. The waterfalls and hot springs were awesome and coming out of the lava cave in the middle of nowhere was ‘out of this world’

This was a very interesting and unique tour! If you're interested in seeing Iceland off the beaten path and meeting more locals, this is the tour for you. I loved visiting the horse farm, the owners were all very nice and enthusiastic. Bear was a fun guide and you could tell that he really cared about this tour and what he did.

It's a great trip, comfortable, and the guide does a few Chinese jumps. 666, very funny. Very nice and very attentive person to get out of the car and show us the way in person and explain everything on the way to the sights, including the restaurant.

Having an Icelandic tour guide was really important for us as we felt we got a more authentic experience. Each place we visited was brought to life through Icelandic eyes which was a definite PLUS (and we enjoyed the local stories and humour! too!) The stop offs were all interesting and varied. We loved meeting the Icelandic horses and learning about the geothermally powered farm where they live - so interesting. Before leaving, we got to try the local rye bread cooked in an underground oven - it was delicious. The lava falls were pretty special. A real highlight was the trip up to the canyon hot springs at the end of the day. Very simply done with maximum sensitivity to the environment. We were wondering whether we had made a mistake by not booking the Golden Circle tour but feel we’ve perhaps got to know a bit more about this beautiful country by choosing this tour. Would highly recommend if you are interested in getting a little bit more under the skin of a place.

Our driver/tour guide was delightful and punctual. As well, he was knowledgeable, funny and communicative - giving us a full experience for what was most of our day (8a to 8p).

Beautiful tour of the untouched side of Iceland. Fantastic scenery, waterfalls, horses and a magnificent cave. Is it. Could not fault the tour which was made all the more pleasant with our driver and guide Addi. He made the trip so interesting and added in some humour as well. A perfect day out. Thank you.

Trip was great. Especially lava cave and Icelandic horses farm. And amazing views of waterfalls. Our guide Walter was very welcoming, great knowledge and storytelling. Best tour guide we had out of all our trips in Iceland 🏆

This was a wonderful day, just what I needed. Our guide was Gulli and he was great, funny and informative. I’m so glad I chose this trip, we were a group of 8, and a few more at the Canyon baths. It was so nice to be in a small group, and the places we visited were so calm and not overcrowded like many other tours from Reykjavik. Highly recommended!!

This was my first your in Iceland...I went in mid-January. Gulli was a great tour guide and driver. He talked about Icelandic history during our drive...a lot of which was in the dark. I loved meeting some of the horses and seeing some gorgeous scenery. The only somewhat negative for me was the Canyon Bath portion of the trip being a bit stressful for me. I am not comfortable walking downhill on snow/ice, but am very thankful they provided crampons and walking sticks. My advice is to pack light for that portion of the day! Overall I had a great day, thank u!
