Aboard a traditional wooden gozzo, I'll show you the most authentic side of the coast, its essence, made up of anecdotes, historical tales, and legends, but above all, of faces and great traditions.
We'll depart from Positano, admiring the town from the sea, and then head to Praiano, a small village that still retains its fishing village essence.
We'll then reach the Furore Fjord, a unique and surprising landscape, and continue towards Capo di Conca and its Saracen tower. The last stop will be Amalfi, the true historical and cultural heart of this coastline.
The tour lasts 6 hours, departing at 10:00 AM and returning at 4:00 PM, with a 2-hour stop in Amalfi or at one of the restaurants along the coast.
For those who wish to skip the line at the Positano pier, private boarding is available for €30. It is also possible to board from Praiano and Amalfi (in the latter case, the journey will be in reverse, with a 2-hour stop in Positano).

5.00Giovanni was the best tour guide/host & most gentleman skipper! Highly, highly recommend! We had some sea sick participants and he was over the top accommodating! He was also an excellent communicator! Loved him and the experience, would definitely book him again and again!

5.00Giovanni was a fantastic host and captain! He was very patient as we took a little while to find parking and locate the Positano pier. He checked in via phone and helped us find him at this pier. The boat itself was lovely, it had a very comfortable covered area and a space below deck with a lounge area and restroom. He provided snacks and all sorts of beverages, including champagne! He shared history and fun facts about all the different stops along the Amalfi coast, and took us to different grottos and caves for swimming. He even let us steer the boat! This was an absolutely beautiful experience and a fantastic way to see the Amalfi coast. We could not recommend this more! It’s completely worth it, it was an amazing experience and Giovanni made it perfect for us.

5.00Book Barracuda, highly recommended. Very reliable, honest and safe! What more could you ask for in a boat tour? Giovanni was so easy to deal with. He was right on time. We never felt rushed at all during the tour. Giovanni even took beautiful photos of me and my friends as a nice gesture and he sent them to me via WhatApp. Very nice skipper. 5.00This was the highlight of our stay in Positano! Giovanni was an outstanding captain and took us to some amazing swimming spots while taking a tour down the Amalfi coast. Drinks and snacks were provided and the captain spoke great English. Would certainly recommend this experience to anyone who visits Positano.

5.00My husband and I had such an incredible day on this boat tour. The boat is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We were provided snacks and refreshments that lasted us the entire boat tour. Giovanni knows the coast very well and is very knowledgeable about the history and geography. Learning about the coast definitely added to magic of the tour. He also brought us to some great spots to swim and snorkel, and we stopped for lunch at a very delicious restaurant. I feel this particular tour is a great value and it really has everything you could ask for. Giovanni made us feel very comfortable, and we thank him for providing us with such a beautiful day on Barracuda!

5.00One of the most beautiful days we experienced in our holiday period, we were in Positano with Giovanni who took us together with his youngest daughter for a tour with his "Barracuda" beard along the coast, explaining to us every corner of that land, told in such a pleasant way that we never wanted to get off his boat again. In addition to having spent such a pleasant day, we had the pleasure of meeting such nice people. A heartfelt thank you to Giovanni and his family, simple people but with a huge heart, we will anxiously await the next trip to Positano to be able to meet them again

5.00Giovanni's boat ride was the highlight of our trip to Positano! We spent the day on a boat tour along the Amalfi coast. Giovanni took us to multiple grottos that we got to jump off the boat and swim into. He knew everything about the coastline and gave us fun history facts and stories of local legends. He brought homemade limoncello to share and took pictures for my friends and I. He was so fun with a great sense of humor. For anyone looking to do a boat tour in the area, I would insist you book with Giovanni.

We’ve got to see Positano from the Mediterranean, and he took us around and showed us other towns and beaches.
