What To Expect
Pagoda Street
Your first stop is a store specializing in bakkwa, jerky-like meat, slow grilled over charcoal with the same secret recipe handed down from generations ago. Savor the honey sweet, appetizing bakkwa or get a pack as a take-away souvenir. Stroll around a little more past the various small stalls that sell a plethora of tropical fruit, including the king of fruits, Durian, as well as fresh seafood and daily goods.
Continue onwards to a hawker center and explore the myriad of food stalls before tasting either “carrot cake” or Char Keow Teow. Warm up your appetite with this popular side dish that uses the simplest ingredients. Your main course of the day is at the first street-level Michelin stall.

5.00This was amazing from start to finish. Sam was so friendly and super knowledgeable. He took the time to speak about the history of Singapore and all the interesting places we passed which felt like he went above and beyond - I was expecting just a food tour but we got a walking tour included so great bang for your buck. The food choices were fab, he ensured everyone had enough food (we had more than enough - 5 dishes? More like 10!) can’t recommend this tour and Sam as a guide enough.

5.00Very good food tour in Chinatown. We have learned a lot about the food of Singapore, the history and tasted some delicious dishes along the way. Plenty of food and enjoyed every dish for its uniqueness. Well organised. Would highly recommend.

5.00I got to experience multiple different types of foods to main meals, snacks, and deserts. Also I received a how to on finding two hidden locations that being a 2D cafe and a Harry Potter themed bar. Would recommend
