• Great tour on our first day in Singapore!!

  This was a great tour! Don, our guide was so happy, pleasant and professional and loved sharing all of his Singapore knowledge with us. After I booked the tour I considered cancelling it because we decided to stay at the Marina Bay Sands for our trip and were going to be pretty close to the light and water show and the show at the super trees at Gardens by the Bay. I thought that maybe it was silly to buy into a tour to do these things I am so glad that I decided to keep the tour and experience this all with Don. The boat cruise was lovely, and we were brought to the best locations for viewing the two shows all in comfort while we listened to our guides sharing of information. Great experience! Don't hesitate to book even if you are staying at Marina Bay because we got so much more out of it than if we would have gone by ourselves.

  Great tour. Weather was perfect so all views were good. The beginning with the boat ride was very interesting and the buildings were beautiful. All of the light shows were amazing very well planned and very easy to view. Tour operators were efficient but downside just too many people in one place at one time.

  This is a great way to customize what you want to see in the city. Getting a list of options let me pick what I wanted. I then discussed it with the driver who suggested some things knowing what interested me.

  The “tour” was not really a tour. It was a series of events that the tour company just took you to. The first tour cost almost 100 USD person. The tour picks you at your hotel, and drops you off. The first stop is a 40 minute river cruise that makes a circle around the river. You could book this yourself for 30USD or less. The narrative is done by a recording from the cruise company. The tour company in a big bus drives you to a free light show at the Marina Gardens which lasts 15 minutes. The last stop is a drive to the Marina Bay hotel to watch the fountains light show similar to Bellagio in Vegas which lasts about 15 minutes. They then drive you back to your hotel. That’s it, Remember you can do the shows for free, and pay for the short cruise yourself. I liked the things we did, but remember you are really paying for the convenience of them shuttling you around from place to place. I definitely would recommend if your time is short, but if you are self touring and have time, you easily could have done these things with a metro ticket.
