  Night tour was well-organized and interesting. Recommended. Tour leaders did a good job of providing information about Singapore and directing the flow from one stop to another.

• Wonderful sights but Disorganized

  The main problem with this tour was the disorganization of the tour leaders. yes....leaders. We had many. We were handed off frequently. Our pickup was 40 minutes late. We were shifted from a van to a bus. so we were a big group, therefore it was hard to recognize people from our group. We missed an 8:00 PM light show and we were then rushed to a holiday show at the Botanical Garden. It was very crowded and dark at the park. Our tour leader was so rushed that some people could not catch up. There was no consideration for the slower folks. People got lost, our friend was abandoned. There was no way to communicate. Some of our tour leaders were difficult to understand. It was a fiasco. But I must add, that the boat ride was fabulous We did catch the light show at 10:00 and it was worth it. Someone did go back to look for our friend and did find her. This tour group has to get their act together.

  Had a really nice time. The guides knew their stuff and managed to keep everyone together. The Spectra light show and night time super tree views were amazing. Highly recommended

• Disappointing tour

  The itinerary (as listed on Viator website) is a good one, and the hotel pick-up was really convenient. However the bus dropped off our group on the curb across the street from Fullerton Hotel…and our large group waited ~20 minutes for the tour guide. Thus, we were running late from the start. Because of the larger than expected group and unclear itinerary changes, we ended up doing the boat ride first (which ended up being the only highlight of the tour and was a lovely way to experience Singapore at sunset (note: the bumboat cruise can be booked directly for $28/person). We boarded the boats during daylight, and the sun set during our ride. The city traffic was heavy, so our bus missed the 8pm Spectra Light Show and ended up driving around in traffic for ~45 min to pass the time. We just made it to the Garden by the Bay light show…and at that point, my family of 4 decided to abandon the tour all together. We independently walked along the bay and we ended up never seeing the merlion (aside from the boat tour), because we departed Singapore early the next day. Disappointing for the price of 4.

  I love taking tours as I don't have to plan as much and let the pro's do the work for me. But in this case, I would have saved my money and more important my time on this trip. This was supposed to be a 4-hour tour. We started by them calling me at 5pm to change the pickup time for 15 mins early at 5:15. Those that have wife's and girlfriends can already understand that is a problem, but we made it work. We then proceeded to pick up the other guests at other hotels and arrived at our first stop at 5:45. The driver told us to get out and wait for our guide. Guide showed up around 6:15 and they were very disorganized and split us into 2 groups at that time. After standing around for another 20 mins, they put us on a bus to another location. We arrived and got on the river cruise portion at 7PM. So almost 2 hours into the tour before we could take any meaningful photos. When we got off the cruise a couple decided to leave the tour. Most people were already grumbling at the lack of organization. From there we got on a bus headed towards an 8PM light show. We drove there until it was 8pm and we missed it, so they turned the bus around and drove us around a round about a few times near a mall. Then they took us to the Gardens by the bay to see the tree lights. We made it just in time, but not everyone as the guide left an elderly couple behind as they needed to go on the elevator instead of the stairs. It was at that point I decided we would also leave the tour and salvage the rest of our night. I had originally just complained to the tour company and was going to leave it at that, but then they sent me this as their response: Wanderlust Ventures PTE. LTD. sent you a message. Thank you for your message. I’d like to clarify that no shows were missed, and no guests left the tour early as you claim. The itinerary was followed as planned, including the river cruise, which provides a fantastic experience regardless of the time of day. We appreciate feedback, but it’s important to focus on facts rather than exaggerating or misrepresenting the situation. If you had genuine concerns during the tour, we would have been happy to address them on the spot. They are going to lie right to my face as if I'm not there on the tour. I sent them the complaint before we even made it to the garden. I will stay away from this company Wanderlust Ventures PTE. LTD.
