This private tour is the perfect way to experience all of Sintra´s wonders with a local guide in an efficient, relaxed and fun way. In approximately 6 to 8 Hours you will visit and experience the unique Sintra´s history and heritage where the Palaces and Gardens of the romantic period contrast with a 10th century moorish castle.
- Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special.
-Right in the center we will visit Sintra National Palace, the most antique and historical palace of Sintra where many royal families lived.
- We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens.
- After Quinta da Regaleira we will enjoy a typical lunch right in Sintra Center
-We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace.

5.00Our guide, Miguel, is an engaging historian so he really made the backstory to Sintra come alive. We had a very detailed tour of the Sintra National Palace and Quinta da Regaleira and the lives and interests of the people who created both. I highly recommend exploring Sintra with Miguel.

5.00Amazing experience and one of our best days in Lisbon. We have 2 boys, 12 and 8 years old and they absolutely loved the day trip not only to Sintra but also along the coastline and everywhere that our guide Rui suggested we visit. Rui was amazing, accommodating every need and stopping and adjusting our day as we went along. We ate amazing fresh fish at a local seaside restaurant, explained everything in an easy way manner for everyone to understand and it was truly a fantastic day!

5.00Joao, our guide, was fantastic. Oftentimes it's best to get into a group tour and have a local guide you around the area rather than doing the itinerary by yourself as you can get the knowledge that aren't readily available elsewhere. Joao's pride of his country and its rich history was evident throughout the tour, which is what you want when you're touring around a place like Sintra. I also have to mention how lovely the food was in Pensão Sisudo, the restaurant we stopped for lunch.

5.00Im highly impressed to the tour - very organised, informative and most importantly comfortable tour with a well attentive and wonderful tour specialist and local guide Joao. He goes above and beyond from start to finish. He even go further extra mile on bringing us closer to the culture of Sintra with those local restaurant and pillows pastries. I can highly recommend this tour, it’s provides me a highlights of Sintra without comprising the time. Each visit has enough time to wander around which I really like. 5.00António is your local friend from Sintra that you never knew you had, until you take his tour. My family hopped into António's van and proceeded to have the BEST day in Portugal during our trip. Sintra is the most enchanting place, and António is a Sintra local born and raised, with all the knowledge, history, and humor you could want in a friend/guide. Take this tour with him, you will want to go back!
