  It was really great to go there. Hany from Luxury Egypt was an excellent guide. The organisation was perfect, especially taking into account Ramadan limitations. Siwa is a quiet village but has a few interesting things to visit, amazing desert, salted pools, hot springs... Perhaps it could be nice to add a day more in the way back in Alexandria or Marsa Matruh, since it is almost in the way and the way back from Siwa to Cairo it is more than 7 hours drive.. But I really enjoyed it!! Thank you very much!!

  I went on the 4 day Siwa tour with Luxury Tours Egypt and I had the best time! Luxury Tours were one of the only tour agencies I could find who offered a 4 day trip, most other agencies offered 3 days, which I thought was too rushed. I would definitely recommend seeing Siwa over 4 days, it’s a long drive from Cairo and this way you get a much more relaxed time, rather than trying to fit everything into one day sightseeing. Siwa is a wonderful place, more relaxed, rural and charming than Cairo or other big cities. There’s some interesting sights to see (Shali fortress, mountain of the dead) plus lots of opportunities to swim, in the salt lakes and in the hot springs. Luxury Tours covered all of this, with plenty of time at each sight and time to feel relaxed and not rushed. The desert safari was loads of fun, watching the sunset over the dunes and trying out sandboarding is not to be missed. What made the trip even better was my amazing guide Ahmed. Right from the moment he picked me up from my hotel in Cairo, to dropping me back there, I felt so well looked after. He was polite, thoughtful, attentive and offered lots of interesting insights into Siwa life. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely at ease and very safe, I knew I was in good hands. Because I did a private tour, he adjusted the itinerary to suit me, and always made sure I was happy, comfortable and enjoying myself. I enjoyed Ahmed’s guidance very much, if you get him as your guide you should count yourself lucky! Luxury Tours did live up to its name - the car I travelled in was new, clean and comfortable, also the lodge I stayed in at Siwa was a real gem - a good balance of rustic style and comfort. I would definitely recommend them for any trip you choose to do in Egypt!

  I had such a wonderful experience in Siwa Oasis. The trip was awesome! My guide Mohammad Yasser and driver Mohammad were marvellous. Yasser brought us to the places of interest and gave us ample time to immerse and enjoy the excursion. The excursion to the salt lake and the desert safari met beyond my expectation. Even though I just went in January, I jumped and floated in the icy cold salt lake. Truly enjoyed myself.

  I had such a wonderful experience in Siwa Oasis. The trip was awesome! My guide Mohammad Yasser and driver Mohammad were marvellous. Yasser brought us to the places of interest and gave us ample time to immerse and enjoy the excursion. The excursion to the salt lake and the desert safari met beyond my expectation.   My husband and I had a great experience with our Egypt Luxury Tours agent Mariem, guide Ahmed, and driver Mustafa. Mariem was kind to answer my many questions prior to our arrival in Egypt, and was consistently asking how we were doing during our Siwa Oasis Tour. The journey to and from the Siwa Oasis is a long way (8-9 hours). It was helpful that Mustafa and Ahmed planned many stops along the way at the gas stations, so that we could stretch, use the toilets (bring your own toilet paper!), and get refreshments. Mustafa was very reliable and safe in driving us around throughout the tour, and so good-natured toward us the whole time. We also really enjoyed the playlists they picked for our rides around in the car. Just be prepared for the long drive – the four-day tour gives more time to enjoy the oasis between full days of travel. Ahmed also took great care of us, and was knowledgeable about the places we visited. We enjoyed hearing about Siwa culture as we visited different historical sites. The sand dune safari was one of our favorite parts of the tour -- driving full-throttle over huge dunes, and sipping tea while enjoying the sunset. This was followed by a relaxing stop at the natural hot spring under the stars, and a delicious dinner shared with our guides. We also had a fun time floating in the clear blue water of the salt lakes on our last day before departure. Our accommodation was comfortable room at a beautiful lakeside hotel. The breakfasts prepared for us were artfully made, filling, and tasty. The hotel is newly developed and was still under some construction, so it seemed as though parts of the property and room services were still getting organized there. So we can only imagine how once it is completed, it will be an even more amazing place to relax and to enjoy the Siwa Oasis. We really appreciated the relaxed nature of both Ahmed and Mustafa – they were so kind and accommodating. They matched our energy and adjusted schedules as we were desiring to move through the tour in a more relaxed way. Both of them also captured many moments of our tour and shared the photos with us. We are so grateful for their care – from the beginning of our tour in Cairo to the Siwa Oasis and back again. Many blessings to you both!

  We had an unforgettable trip to Siwa that exceeded all expectations. From floating in the salt lakes to watching the most beautiful sunsets, exploring the Sahara desert by 4WD, sandboarding, and visiting historic sites such as the Citadel and the Mountain of the Dead – every moment was incredible. A special mention goes to our guide, Mohamad (aka Mojito), and our driver, Mostafa (aka Australian Calais). Their knowledge, humour, and care made the experience truly memorable and so much fun.   Visiting Siwa was by far one of the best decisions we made during our trip to Egypt. Although the journey from Cairo takes around 9 hours, it is absolutely worth it and I strongly recommend making the effort! What made the trip truly special was our amazing guide, Eslam. He took care of us for all four days – organizing everything perfectly so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. His knowledge, kindness, and attention to detail made the whole experience smooth, relaxing, and unforgettable. A special shoutout also goes to Mahmoud, who gave us an absolutely thrilling desert safari experience! Driving over the dunes, sandboarding — it was truly insane in the best way possible. Siwa is a magical place, and with people like Eslam and Mahmoud, it becomes even more incredible. Don’t miss it!
