Guided by a professional wilderness guide, we ski between the snow covered trees in the light of our head-lamps. The wintery forest of Riisitunturi comes to life in a magical way as light and shadow meet on our path. As we ascend higher, the arctic night sky opens up all around us. Depending on the weather, there are possibilities to see northern lights, a sky full of stars, a full moon or maybe a mystical foggy lanscape. The skiing ends with the renowned wilderness dinner in a traditional kota. Our private wilderness chef prepares a three course dinner on the fire from local wild food.
