The time spent in the Academia was much shorter than I expected, only about 30 minutes. We saw the David and one other room and that was it. The Uffuzi was better, though it was quite a walk between the two. We went the first week of June and the crowds and heat were already worse than we hoped. Museums were mobbed and noisy, so it was difficult to hear the tour guide. She did the best she could, but I had a hard time following her patter. Unfortunately, I did not feel like I got my money’s worth. You are better to book ONE museum by yourself and spend more time.

The headphones were terrible and we could barely hear our tour guide during the tour. We ended up leaving early because we continued to get static in the earphones and could not hear. Very disappointed in our experience.

This is a must-do tour in Florence. Sylvia is exceptionally good. She took the the time to explain the nuances and details of Renaissance art as it evolved over the years. We learned a lot from her and would strongly recommend this museum tour!

Mary was very informative and I could tell she really was knowledgeable about all the art history and enjoyed teaching us about Firenze and talking about the Masters. Well done.

I was initially worried about all the walking given the length of the tour, but we had enough rest stops where the walking wasn’t overwhelming. Our guide Ana was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour was a good way to see both museums and walk through a part of the city. We were also given a break from the tour to visit the gift shop or use the restroom if needed.

This experience pretty closely aligned to what we expected when booking. Our headsets were a little old which made it hard at times to hear our guide, and the museums were WAY overcrowded which made the whole experience a bit overwhelming, but that's not the fault of the guide. We missed a couple of the pass through stops advertised in the listing, and we did have to wait on lines at both museums for entry, but overall this was a good enough way to quickly see the highlights of the Academia and the Uffizi gallery. I did appreciate that our guide left us in the Uffizi if we wanted to keep exploring on our own!

The company once again changed the time on us at the last minute. Not impressed. On the other hand our guide was quite knowledgeable and explained what to look for in perspective of a piece of art. She also worked at the Uffizi I would pay attention to who you are booking with through Viator.
