Went as the museum was opening. Got to check in coats complimentary. Staff was friendly and informative. Got to see Moctezuma ‘s penacho which was my primary objective.

The building is very beautiful and very imposing with different ornaments in each room related to the theme. Two floors to visit with several separate sections. Take the audio guide (9€ for 3 people) to have additional information on the tour. Allow between 2 and 3 hours to visit everything and deep audio guide. Little extra, lockers and cloakroom available and free.

Cool historical facts. Family friendly and easy to get started with maps provided. We enjoy seeing the Mexican history pieces most.

There was no skip the line option. We still had to go to ticket booth and then get in the regular line. The agent said “they sold you something that doesn’t exist”

I advise to book a table at the bar, a unique experience and of an absolute quality, the whole building is magnificent, including the Egyptian exhibition, has a luggage guard with very handsome ladies (which is rare in Vienna).

We had a great time. There were many awesome things to see there. It’s a little dark and hard to read the captions but overall a must see. Lots of diversity for the different cultures.

Hey folks, Pictures and more pictures, the Italian school was on the list and it was almost completely worked through. It was exhilarating and at the same time an excellent expansion of the senses as well as a nice expansion of the mental hard drive. Here are a few impressions, have fun, you can happily stroll and enjoy yourself for many hours here.

We got our tickets on line and exchange them at the museum. Great museum to visit, has objects of all around the world. You must have enough time because there are a lot of objects yo see.

The Welt Museum is great. It's "anthropology" focused. Different cultures. In my (limited) experience, you didn't really need to buy an advance ticket. But it was nice and convenient. Their cafe happened to be excellent (limited selection but excellent quality.) Two hours is a good amount of time.
