This full-day tour will start in the heart of the Alps, where we will visit one of the largest natural attractions in Slovenia - Lake Bled. Besides the blue-green lake, we will be able to admire also the picturesque architecture of the Bled castle, which is built atop a cliff that rises above the lake. It is possible to reach the unique island in the middle of the lake using the traditional Pletna boat. Alternatively, you can decide for a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, enjoying some of the most spectacular views of this picturesque lake. The road will then lead us to the Postojna cave, where we will observe one of the most famous karst caves in the world. While riding on the cave train, everyone will be fascinated by the cave's might and its karst phenomena. We will continue our trip and reach the unique and largest cave castle in the world - the Predjama Castle, which has been dominating perched high up in the cliff for 800 years.

Postojna Cave
In this excursion, we'll explore Postojna, where tourists will embark on a guided tour through the cave. Part of the tour involves walking, while the other portion will be covered by the cave train, providing an exceptional experience. Visitors may witness various karst phenomena such as stalactites, stalagmites, and even the mysterious human fish!

5.00We had a wonderful day with Slovenian Wander to visit the most popular tourist attractions- Lake Bled, Bled castle, Postojna cave and Predjama castle. We were a group of 8 in a comfortable aircon Van with knowledgeable English speaking tour guide (Slovenian national). It couldn't have gone any better! I especially appreciate their contact the day before via WhatsApp with pickup arrangements and info on how much cash to bring with. Highly recommended!

5.00Matej our guide and driver was prompt, courteous, spoke great English and provided in depth information. It was pouring rain after our cave tour and he met us at the exit with umbrellas for all. Flexible scheduling, we were able to switch our Lake Bled tour to a day with better weather. Nice organization of the tour sequence. Nice amount of free time with great suggestions for things to do and explore on your own. Excellent guided and narrated segments while in the van and on location.

5.00Our day with Matej was wonderful. Matej was responsive and punctual in getting our day started and kept us on time and on track through our various stops. We were able to see everything we wanted to in Lake Bled, Predjama Castle, and in Postojna Cave. Throughout the entire trip, Matej also provided us with many stories, history lessons, and geographical facts that allowed us to learn so much. He also gave us great advice for plans we have later on in our travels. This tour with Matej was the perfect way to experience Slovenia as first-time visitors. We look forward to visiting again!
