Joined a group tour led by Hal exploring the architecture dotted around Ginza. I am very impressed by her insights and technical knowledge on how each project become unique and iconic. Very much enjoyed her energy as well. The slide deck was an excellent touch to briefly explain each location without being overwhelming. The depth of Ginza's architecture would have been missed without her guidance. +1 for the excellent ramen recommendation at the end of the tour!

Taka is a great guide. As a former urban planner and architect, he’s really knowledgeable about the many modern buildings in the Ginza area. Our personal highlights were going into the Tiffany building and the Nicolas G. Hayek Centre and exploring them from the inside, something we wouldn’t even think to have done ourselves. Throughout the tour Taka was friendly and made time to answer any questions that we had. We highly recommend this tour to anyone keen to explore Ginza in greater depth!

I went with a 4 person group with Takamatsu Yamamura. He was an excellent guide with excellent English. It wasn’t just an architectural tour but a cultural one as well. I learned a lot and had a great time doing it. I would have never have learned all that just by reading a book. Thank you Taka. It is a highlight of my trip to Tokyo. Highly recommend.

I loved this tour! It was very well organized and our wonderful guide Mari shared countless interesting facts with us, including many that went beyond the stops of the tour. She was also happy to answer any questions and showed us some hidden gems. I would recommend this tour to anyone, even those not super familiar with architecture. The time passed so quickly, and Ginza is perfect for a tour like this one because it has so many different facets (temple, shopping malls, etc.).

Didn't know exactly what to expect, but loved this experience. I learned so much more in 2 hours with a guide compared to decades of visits to Tokyo. The guide was excellent and the tour was well prepared and thought out. Can't wait to check out their other Tokyo walking tours.

What an incredible experience! Our tour guide Yuka went above and beyond, she was one of the best tour guides we've ever had. We learned so much about the history and architecture of Ginza. We saw so many hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. The 3.5 hours went by so quickly, we were so sad for it to end. a
