Val was the most amazing tour guide and skilled driver for our 12+ hour tour. She regaled us all with history and stories which were never boring, as we navigated the small and winding country roads. We went up close to Stonehenge, wandered the quaint streets of The Cotswolds and ended the day with a tour of the Roman Baths and a pub dinner in Bath, with newly made friends from afar on the tour. I highly recommend this day trip—definitely ask for Val, as she is a fantastic tour-guide de force—one that I will always remember, and one that would be hard to beat. Thank you Val!

We had an amazing day touring Castle Combe, Stonehenge, and Bath with The English Bus. Our guide, Cara, was absolutely exceptional — lively, polite, professional, and full of energy. She shared fascinating historical insights at every stop, making the journey both educational and entertaining. Cara’s storytelling brought each location to life, and her sense of humor kept everyone engaged throughout the day. She also made us feel very safe and comfortable with her excellent driving skills, even on the narrow country roads. This tour was a perfect mix of history, beauty, and fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend The English Bus and Cara for anyone visiting London

Cara was a great tour guide and driver for the day. We had a great time and enjoyed all the sites we got to see along the way. The weather mostly cooperated with us even. She was full of interesting bits and helpful tips at each of the stops.

From start to finish, our day trip with The English Bus was absolutely wonderful. Our guide, Jon French, made the experience unforgettable with his mix of knowledge, humor, and genuine passion for what he does. We visited Stonehenge, Bath, and Castle Combe, and Jon brought each place to life with stories, interesting facts, and plenty of laughs along the way. He managed to make a full-day tour feel relaxed and personal. It never felt rushed or scripted. We also felt very comfortable on the bus! This tour highlights of our trip to England. If you’re thinking about booking a tour, don’t hesitate. The English Bus deserves 10 stars, and if you’re lucky enough to have Jon as your guide, you’re in for a treat!

We meet Lilly at the London Eye for our adventure. The moment we departed Lilly was full of energy and knowledge. She was the perfect person for the job. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the small group tour. There was 14 of us, which was perfect. There was ample opportunity to see the sights and views. It was a beautiful day.

This a fantastic tour made especially great by our wonderful, knowledgeable and funny tour guide Lucy. Despite overcast skies throughout the day we managed to have great visits to Stonehenge, The beautiful city of Bath and the remote charming village of Castle Combe in The Cotswolds. Lucy kept us enthralled with a vast knowledge of each area as we made the long journey to and fro. Highly recommend this tour.
