Nohl made the entire journey extremely pleasant and engaging! Starting off with the mysterious Stonehenge, he drove us to Bath which turned out to be a lovely university town. We ended at Castle Combe, a delightful quaint English village. Overall would highly recommend the English Bus for typical English experiences.

Our experience with this tour was amazing. Our guide Tony was kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We especially appreciated his superb driving skills navigating busy streets of London, the motorways and winding roads of Cotswolds. He provides information on the subjects as we were approaching our various stops, getting us ready to enjoy Stonehenge, Bath and Cotswolds. The stops were great, we had nice time at all three stops and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn and enough to spike our interest to come back. I highly highly recommend this tour and this tour operator. Our tour group had only 15 guests and it was perfect and not crowded at all. I only regret not taking walking tour with Tony in Bath and opting instead to see Jane Austin Center - if you are Jane Austin fan, you will be disappointed. But that is on me, the tour was otherwise perfect.

A fantastic way to spend the day outside of London. The scenery is beautiful, the bus ride comfortable and the knowledge of the area delivered by our host, Cara, was very entertaining. Money well spent and a wonderful day had.

This trip was simple to register for but there were a couple of frustrating items with Viator. When selecting a pick-up place, my confirmation page appeared with an 845 am pick-up time. However, that is the pick-up time for the first pick-up at the London Eye location. If you select the second location, Doubletree Hilton, the pick-up time is 910 am. Our guide/driver was John. He had a very atypical tour guide personality! John was friendly, polite yet extremely upbeat and informative with background information throughout the 11-hour day! It is evident that he truly enjoys his work/job. John was extremely patient with the different generations and nationalities who signed up for the tour - which can mean a lot. The van was comfortable and a nice size for the group that showed up. For those who sit in the back row, my peers could not figure out how to recline the seats. [They may not recline whereas the others do.] The timing and flow of the day is appropriate and un-rushed. While it takes a lot of time to get out of London, John provided ample facts as he drove us out of the slog. The Stonehenge visit was perfect since tour groups by-pass the massive traffic jam/line. Again, it is MASSIVE. Group buses and vans have a separate parking. This proves highly efficient and welcome. The allotted time at the property was on-point and for those who need a refreshment, the visitors center is very good. The drive to Bath provided a nice nap for those who needed a quick shut-eye. Bath was the highlight for me. While I would have preferred to overnight there, we had enough time to pick and choose what we saw. [Bridgerton fans have a few Easter eggs here!] And finally, the last stop is the Cotswolds. The weather was agreeable for us adding to the quaint and charming spot. Whilst private, this area is gorgeous and picturesque. Of note, my lack of sleep created a logistical hurdle. However, getting assistance was a breeze. I called the support number for the tour operator (the English Bus) and got immediate assistance from Chris. When I called a second time, he was not annoyed or irritated, but very helpful and reassuring. The tour company sends a welcome email after you book the tour. You should read it to understand the content: 1) the ticket to Stonehenge is not included so you pay the tour guide and 2) if you hope to see the Roman Baths in Bath, you need to purchase the ticket separately as well; maybe even purchase an advance ticket just to be sure. Three Cheers to the English Bus!
