DMZ
The DMZ is a unique area where you can observe one country being divided into two. With this tour, you will visit the 3rd Tunnel, DMZ Exhibition hall, Dora observatory and Unification village. Experience the tension but hope for peace in Korea and learn about their history and future. [DMZ Theater & Exhibition Hall] The DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall offers videos and key artifacts that help visitors understand the painful history of Korea’s division. With displays of photographs, documents, and remnants from the past, visitors can gain a deeper and clearer insight into the historical events that led to the division of the Korean Peninsula.
Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Imjingak Park, originally established as a place of solace for refugees from North Korea during the Korean War, features several symbolic monuments such as the Freedom Bridge, the Soldiers’ Memorial, and the Peace Bell. Adjacent to it, Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park offers visitors a chance to reflect on Korea’s history, the ongoing tensions, and hopes for peace. With monuments like the Mangbaedan, a war-damaged steam locomotive, and open spaces dedicated to remembrance and harmony, the area holds strong potential to be designated as an international peace park.

Tour guide BK was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We saw all the sights as described. The 3rd tunnel was excellent and more time here would have been good.

Our guide Sookhae was great, very friendly and informative, but we weren't fans of the structure of the tour itself - there were a lot of stops, but everything was pretty rushed so you didn't have long at each (which in some cases was fine, others not so much). The worst thing is that there was no time scheduled for food - I'd even messaged specifically the day before and was told that a) breakfast would be provided and b) there would be time for lunch. Neither of those turned out to be true, so all day all we managed to eat was very quick snacks we had to wolf down before getting herded off to the next place. We were starving by 2 and had to rush down from the last stop just to buy something from the tiny convenience store. If you want a smaller group size, want to pack a lot in and remember to pack your bag full of all the food you'll need, then this is the tour for you!

Sookhee was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide who provided an amazing and informative experience. Her knowledge of the Korean War and post armistice history is unparalleled. The day was tailored to ensure we had an immersive experience at each location based off the weather. This ensured that we were able to get value for money at each attraction. I will definitely be rebooking with Sookhee next time I travel to South Korea.

Myself and my family had a great time on the Monday DMZ Tour led by Sookhee. Even though we weren't able to visit the tunnel or main viewing observatory as they are closed on Monday's we were still able to have a great day viewing other areas of the DMZ and the Gamaksan suspension bridge. Sookhee was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic whilst guiding us on our tour and I would highly reccomned anyone travelling to South Korea to take a trip to the DMZ. 감사합니다 숙희 선생님!

A really interesting insight into the history of Korea, the Korean War, UK contribution to the War effort and a better understanding of the secretive North Korea. Our tour guide Sookeh was great, knowledgeable, friendly and kept our day running smoothly.
