El Yunque National Forest
We visit the Eastside of El Yunque Rainforest. Our adventure starts with a 30 minute hike (the path can be muddy) to the first mineral water, natural water pool. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water and live in nature. Along the way you will learn of the bio diverse ecosystem of the rainforest, touch bamboo, unique flora, guava trees and 300 year old trees. Further up after a 15 minute hike, a little rocky there is another watering hole with natural waterfalls. NOTE : Saturday tour take a different route and require participants to be in good physical condition. This route is great for people in shape ready for a more steep and muddy adventure. If this is not for you, we encourage to book with us on any other day of the week. We are featured in Kayak Travel guide for San Juan.

Great activity to do while in the area. My husband and i did the Saturday 830 group which was perfect for us , we got there before most of the other groups and the area wasn’t too crowded yet. Patricia was our guide and was great. The Saturday experience is for sure better matched for people who are used to hiking or are overall active but by no means is it difficult if you’re one of those people. Our group was all adults, wouldn’t recommend with young children. Be prepared to get muddy and wet!!

This was THE best! So glad we took the plunge and booked it! Alex and Catherine “La Taina” are the best guides ever. They get you out there early to avoid the crowds. So nice and conscientious. Catherine helped and looked after my cousin to help him out climbing up and back. She’s an excellent driver too!!

Incredible experience and our guides, Alex and Taina were incredible. You'll be going earlier than any other tour groups in the area, but its definitely worth it for a smaller more private experience

This was so fun! The two guides are amazing. We had a child in our group and they did an amazing job accommodating them. They know their stuff and the tour isn’t too long. I’m thankful we were in a small group. The larger groups had to wait for every person to take turns on the water activities making the experience long. It’s worth it to book the mall group tour if you prefer a shorter tour. Can’t recommend enough.
