There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water and live in nature. Along the way you will learn of the bio diverse ecosystem of the rainforest, touch bamboo, unique flora, guava trees and 300 year old trees. Further up after a 15 minute hike, a little rocky there is another watering hole with natural waterfalls. NOTE : Saturday tour take a different route and require participants to be in good physical condition. This route is great for people in shape ready for a more steep and muddy adventure. The experience was great, accurately described, and the actual tour guides were remarkable! Viator communication via email was good. The cancellation window is generous (24 hours). The tour operator, Casa Venturas, did not have an operating phone number to call with questions, nor prompt responses via a message board. The website did not function properly. It offered editing but it did not work. The only communication that did work was the Chat function, but it was limiting.

Alex was an amazing tour guide with a positive fun attitude and very informative. Great at capturing the perfect moments with the pictures he takes of you. A must try! When in Puerto Rico.

Alex and team were fantastic! Worth the early start to get ahead of the large tour busses. We basically had the rainforest to ourselves and all the time we wanted at the waterslide, cliff jump and rope swing.

The tour itself had beautiful nature and the park was worth seeing, but unfortunately the organization and customer service were very disappointing. We were 6 people out of a 13-person group, almost half of the entire tour, and we were scheduled as the first pickup at 6:30 AM. I confirmed our hotel pickup location two weeks in advance, and then again the day before with the tour guide. I specifically asked if pickup would be at our hotel, and he confirmed yes. The next morning, at 6:28 AM—just 2 minutes before pickup—the guide (Joel) called and said we needed to walk to the square because he could not get his van to our street. He told us we had to be there within 5 minutes. I explained that it was at least a 5-minute walk, I didn’t know exactly where the square was, and I needed to gather 6 people to get there. He started yelling that he had a schedule and if we were not there in 5 minutes, he would leave without us. I repeated that we needed a little more time, and he again yell he would leave without us. This was a very stressful and frustrating way to start the day. We rushed and barely made it. After that, it took another hour to collect the rest of the group. When we arrived at the park, they collected an additional $2 entrance fee per person. Yes, this was mentioned in advance, but some people did not have exact change, so we then spent another 30 minutes while the guide tried to exchange money with local people. I don’t understand why this fee was not simply included in the $80 tour price. Charging $82 upfront would have made much more sense and avoided unnecessary delays. No water or anything extra was provided. While this was also mentioned in advance, there was really no sense of customer care or added service at all. To be fair, Joel did explain the nature and the park well, and the scenery itself was beautiful. But beyond that, the organization was poor and the customer service was unacceptable. I was organizing this for my family members during our Puerto Rico trip, and unfortunately this was the most disappointing service of the entire vacation. Because of this experience, I would not book with Viator again, and I would not recommend this tour wit Viator or Joel.

Although the pick up time is listed as 8am, Eliu picked us up at 6:25am. And we are so glad he did! We were pretty much the first group at the waterfalls and did not have to wait in any line. Eliu was a fantastic tour guide and taught about the vegetation along the hike. He was very encouraging and supportive to the nervous ones and enthusiastic with all of us. He held on to our phones in a dry bag and made sure to take pictures and videos with each of our phones when we were having fun. Super fun water slide, cliff jump, and rope swing. Such a magical place! By the time we were wrapping up to hike back around 10:15, there were easily 60 people who had arrived in tour groups. Highly recommend this one!!!

Our guide Patricia was awesome!!!! Communication prior to and throughout was excellent! She was punctual, extremely knowledgeable of the rainforest and beyond. Me were the first ones on trail and first to leave which was great. Perfect amount of time exploring and then back to our condo 12:30 for lunch and beach
