What To Expect
The Geothermal Park Hveragerdi
Once picked up, our initial stop on the Golden Circle Tour is the Iceland Hot Springs Park in Hveragerði. A brief drive will bring you to the Eilífur Geyser, which erupts every 15-20 minutes. Stroll along the park's trails, enveloped by bubbling hot springs that highlight Iceland's geothermal marvels. Savor hverabrauð, a sweet bread baked using geothermal heat in the on-site bakery. Inside the greenhouse, witness banana plants thriving in this unique geothermal setting.
Kerid Crater
Next stop is at Kerid, a brightly colored volcanic crater. Kerid is only a few thousand years old, and the crater’s colorful appearance comes from iron deposits in the rocks. The caldera is also covered with lush banks of velvet-green moss. Inside the crater lies a shallow turquoise-colored lake, making Kerid one of the most striking sights seen anywhere in Iceland.

5.00If you’re coming to Iceland, this tour should be on your list! It was so well organized and efficient. Bartos was our guide and he did an amazing job guiding us through the day and telling us interesting facts about Iceland as he drove us to each stop. He was prompt at picking us up and had excellent communication. We even had time for a couple extra stops along the way. There were a couple places I would have loved to spend more time at, but I understood we had a lot to see and not much daylight, so we had to keep moving. The Hvammsvik spa was the perfect way to end a packed day of exploring Iceland. I would highly recommend this tour! We had a great experience.

5.003 day tour with Colin and Thorri - both were informative and helpful with tips on each stop on best views, best photo op locations, their favorite things to eat at that particular location. I would recommend the tour!

5.00We booked this as part of our 5 day tour. Our driver, Thorri, had a great sense of humour and made the trip very enjoyable. He also had the best playlist for our ride (based on his theory that all cover songs sound better done in bluegrass). HVAMMSVÍK was a once in a lifetime experience. Such a beautiful setting and the ultimate relaxation in the midst of nature.
