Founded in the 13th century as a port by King Louis IX, it offers visitors a glimpse into its rich history and natural beauty. Then take some free time to wander the charming cobbled streets, browse the local boutiques, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the town squares.

Excellent tour. Saw the Camargue horses, flamingoes and toros. Visited a walled Medieval town and tasted some local foods. David is an excellent guide. Thankyou.

If you don't want to get the train to Aigues Mortes and don't have much time this is a good opportunity to visit with a guide. Drawback is that you walk round in a group so no time to do your own thing - would be better with free time and a meeting point for a drink. But we were shown the key sites and churches and stopped on the return to climb a medieval tower for amazing views!

Marc is a knowledgeable guide, with deep knowledge about wine making. However, too much time at the vineyard and not enough in Camargue.
