Fiji has many gems like unspoiled beaches, clear waters to view colorful coral and fish when snorkeling/diving and wonderful friendly people but it also has beautiful mountain forests. Our guide, Ice shared a hidden gem of a hiking trail with spectacle views. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Hiking was at a good pace and he adjusted quickly when we wanted to spend time searching for birds while in our hike. We highly recommend Ice for your guide!

This hike was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything about the experience was unforgettable. The views were breathtaking, every turn felt like a new postcard scene. The hospitality of the people we met along the way made the journey even more special, so warm, kind, and welcoming. In general, the entire experience was beyond amazing, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for both adventure and beauty.

I am so grateful for this hiking experience with Ray and the village guide. I wanted to hike Mt. Tomanivi, but it was impractical because I stayed on the Coral Coast with a non-hiking family. I contacted Ray, and he set up a perfect day hike into the interior of Fiji. The drive was spectacular. I was nervous about eating Fijian food or drinking Kava, but wanting to be respectful. Ray removed that from his hikes because, apparently, I am not the only one with a very limited palate- burgers and pizza. He instead picked up some great commercially packaged protein bars that I enjoyed from the grocery store. Once we arrived, I was introduced to Ishra. A village owns the land we hiked on, and he is the village warrior. As a search-and-rescue volunteer, I appreciated that Ray was prepared with an ample First Aid Kit. Fortunately, we didn't have to use it. He shared a lot of information about the area, and it was beautiful. Ray is always exploring new areas to take his clients to, so you know you will have great places to visit with breathtaking views and be safe under his guidance.

Chose this tour as we wanted to see something of the ‘real’ Fiji and it didn’t disappoint. Our guides Ray and Peter were great. The walk was amazing and even the hour’s drive to get there was worth the rough unsealed roads. Getting an insight into Village life was an added bonus of the trip and watching the kids at the local school enjoy their sports day was an other colourful addition. The hike was very doable for anyone with moderate fitness and showcased the true Fijian countryside Definitely recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors and walking and wants to get away the the tourist areas

Such an incredible experience. My guides were so kind and personable. They took me to the most beautiful hike spots in Fiji and we finished off the trip with an authentic Fijian vegetarian meal. If you’re in Fiji, you need to book this tour. I’ll remember it for a lifetime

I was communicating with Ray till 19.06 hrs a day before the trip. At 21.00 hrs he cancells the tour and does not have the courtesy of informing me. On the day of the tour, i checked my email in the morning and there was an email from Trip Advisor that the tour had been cancelled but no communication from Ray. Totally unprofessional. I come all the way to Fiji and ended wasting a day because of this unprofessional behaviour.

The experience was awesome ! Ray is really nice and he brought us to a wonderful hidden place in the middle of the mountains, amazing views on the valley, the mountains around and on Nadi Bay. I went for an afternoon hike and we saw an in incredible sunset, definitely recommend it ! We also met locals in the small village of Naurosi, it was a real authentic experience, and Pita, our guide for the hike which takes place on his land invited us for a lemongrass tea and Fijian pancakes in his farm house. If you ever go to Nadi and want to experience something more authentic and original, just go for it !

I loved this adventure ! Surely one of the highlights of my trip in Fiji ! Ray is really nice and brought me to a wonderful secret place in the mountains, to meet locals in a small village, to see wonderful views and sunset. I needed something different than going to the beach and it was just perfect !

Visiting a local place is not so easy as we think. Thanks to them, we had a chance to see a beautiful and uncontaminated area surrounded by thousands of plants, trees and few animals. The guide knows perfectly where to go even there is no pathway. At the top, the view is marvellous. We were there for the sunset. Little bit harder to come back with no proper lights but everyone can survive. Bring a jumper because it's a bit cold but must be done. Really friendly crew and worth it
