5.00Be well rested - this is a long tour. We learned a lot at the castle - the guide was great. Connemara Park was stunning - and the sheep dog demonstration informative and so much fun.

5.00We got to see so much of Connemara and the surrounding areas without ever feeling rushed! Plus, the sheepdog puppies were a bonus. The trip wouldn’t have been complete without our amazing guide Michael who was very knowledgeable and shared amazing facts while we drove. Will definitely be recommending to friends!

5.00Excellent tour with Michael - our driver and tour guide. Michael’s commentary was informative and interesting. Aughnanure Castle was wonderful but the highlight of the tour was the sheepdog demonstration for my husband and I. Connemara was stunning as well. It was a grand day tour and we would highly recommend.

5.00I went on this tour with a friend and we truly had the best time - it was the highlight of a perfect week in Ireland and we cant wait to go back. We were lucky and the weather was perfect. But we were also lucky to have Richie Forde as our tour guide. He is a wealth of information about the geography, culture, and animals of the area - and he was truly bubbling with passion and joy for this beautiful picturesque place he gets to call home. The castle was beautiful and fun to explore. The sheep dog experience was spectacular. The dog, Rex, was such good dog. The handler was wildly attractive. Everyone was very approachable for questions. Definitely worth it. I would go on the tour a second time if/when I go back and because I'm sure I'd learn more every time - especially with Richie as our guide. Between the entertaining and informative nature of his stream of conscious storytelling and the breathtaking views, nobody could be bored.

1.00I was on a group tour in Galway and really wanted to visit Cong Villians as I am a fan of The Quiet Man. I reached out to Lally tours about their group tour from Galway City to Connemara, Aughnanure Castle, and Cong Village. Lally tours told me that while the museums would possibly be closed as Cong Village is at the end of the tour, there would be plenty of time for me to walk around, see the sites, and explore Cong Abbey. I decked to book it; however on the day of the tour our bus driver wanted to skip Cong and head back to Galway. I brought up being a fan and that it was included and we were given only 25 minutes. 25 minutes was not what was promised to me and after the tour I emailed Lally Torus to let them know of my disappointment. They said Cong Village is flexible and not always included, even though it is clearly listed on the excision when you book and if it is “flexible” and not a part of the “tour” then why didn’t they tell me that when I sent my original inquiry? I could have spent the money on something else. I am really disappointed in Lally tours and would never book with them again. Anyone planning to book with them be wary, your trip might not be quite what you think planned.

5.00Fantastic experience -- Michael, our guide and driver, was awesome! He gave us alot of great information and kept us moving along. Such beautiful scenery. But by far, the highlight was going to Joyce Country Sheepdogs with sheep herding.
Wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations!
