• Long but fun day!

  Fun experience, with a great tour guide, Christy (not sure spelling of name). Tour didn’t have any super stand out moments, but more-so the overall experience and story telling along the way was interesting. Real strength was the tour guide, very genuine and insightful. Was a great way to see the island, however half our tour was cut short due to not being able to tour past the southern cliffs that had the road collapse. Understandable that it isn’t their fault but would have been nice to see the difference between rainforest and desert areas. Overall, it was nice meeting other people and enjoying the day together.

• Aggressive Tip request

  The tour itself was pretty good but the communication before was horrible. I received 3 messages from 3 numbers and different pick up times. I had no cash and With the multiple messages I missed the tip “request” and after tour received an aggressive message from tour guide about tip. I would feel horrible for anyone who can’t afford to tip and additional $100-150 on top of the $450 paid for the tour. Please factor that in if you book this trip because the tip is more of a demand and if that’s the case it needs to just be included. The driver is basically making an extra $500 on top of what company is making which seems a little excessive. To justify it she told me the trip is “extremely dangerous” I assumed it was pretty safe but hearing that gives me pause about recommending this trip to friends. I have no problem offering a tip I don’t want to be told how much to tip and be asked before the trip.

  Justin was the best tour guide, made the whole experience 100x better. It was all around awesome, highly recommend road to Hana and request Justin from Dynamic tours.

• Excellent Road To Hana tour

  My friend and I opted to take a bus tour to Hana over driving ourselves and it was the right choice. Our tour guide, Malia, was so lovely and knowledgeable and engaging. She really upped the quality of the tour. We appreciated that pickup and drop off was from our condo. We saw so much, even through the windows of the bus. There were enough stops to get out and stretch our legs and do some exploring. There were opportunities to make purchases at some of the stops but no pressure to do so. We were able to choose which banana bread stand to stop at. We didn’t drive into Hanatown, which is my only criticism, and weren’t able to see the sights on the other side, due to road construction, which was beyond the tour company’s control. Overall, we highly recommend this tour.

  Very informative tour on a very curvy road. With a tour guide driving we were able experience the sights without having to pay attention to staying on the road. Our tour guide/driver Christie was informative, entertaining, and an excellent driver. (I'm a 3 million mile retired truck driver!) Just be aware that this is a 10 hour tour. We really enjoyed the tour. Although no one on our tour had a problem, someone prone to motion sickness should take some precautionary medications. Our driver Christie was very smooth and had amazing spatial awareness on the narrow twisting roads.
