Gozo and Malta are separated only by a narrow channel but the differences are eye-catching. Gozo is greener, more laidback and sparsely populated. You'll get the lowdown on the island on this adults-only small group tour with visits to the Victoria Citadel, Ggantija Temples, Ta'Pinu Basilica and Dwejra Bay.

After a short trip by ferry to the island and a pit stop at Qala Point, things kick off at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Ggantija Temples, which pre-date the Egyptian pyramids. The historic theme continues at the medieval Citadel of Victoria, the island's capital. There's also a visit to the salt pans to see how it's harvested.

Then, after lunch at a traditional Gozitan restaurant, we'll head to Ta'Pinu Basilica for a chance to grab some Instaworthy snaps. Last but not least you'll visit the impressive geographic features in and around Dwejra Bay – the Fungus Rock and the Inland Sea lagoon.

We had a very informative guide and a well planned tour of Gozo. I would definitely recommend, however the photos and trip description need updating!

Excellent experience! Our driver and tour guide went above and beyond to make sure our tour was safe and that no one was left behind. Our tour guide spoke English very well and was able to share a vast amount of information with each stop. I would highly recommend this trip to everyone coming to Malta that would like to explore Gozo!

An excellent day - well looked after and well organised. A few hiccups with pick up from Valletta due to unforeseen circumstances but worked out OK. Anthony the guide was excellent and the driver, Jonathan, superb. Saw a lot, timings good and lunch excellent with plenty of wine. A very nice restaurant.

As trips go this is quite expensive. In my opinion it is worth every penny. Picked up from our hotel with our guide Anthony. He was from Gozo and was very passionate about the island. Only 16 people on the minibus (adults only). Short trip to the ferry port and straight over to Gozo. Met by another minibus and off we went. This trip takes in all the sites of Gozo. All in all there were 7 stops plus a stop for lunch at Marsalforn. It is difficult to pick out a single highlight but when you get to the Inland Sea i would recommend the boat tour for an extra 4 euros each. Even the dreaded visit to the Arts and Crafts centre was very brief and no pressurised selling..!! Anthony's information during the day was fascinating and Gozo is a beautiful island.

Beautiful capital. An unmissable walk during your visit to Malta. Plan sunscreen and water cap and relax a little in the park at the top of the hill after a good walk to enjoy the shade and the view.
