Jenny was a very good guide, she gave us many useful information. It was raining and we could not see the waterfall but she took us to the Keelung temple, which was beautiful.

Despite a very rainy day, the tour was excellent. 11,000 steps up and down slippery paths. Each site fun and very well organized. Tour guide Jenny and driver Eddie excellent. Explanations very easy to follow.. Sites—-lanturn flying, water fall and charming Juifen town all worth seeing.

The weather is beyond anyone’s control but the trip should have been called off due to the torrential rain. We didn’t do approximately 4 of the items on the itinerary because of the rain including the waterfall (would have been too dangerous) or releasing the lantern once we had written it, we were shuffled off with a little card to view them setting our lanterns off later on Facebook, but not great when you don’t have Facebook, so a little pointless writing if you can’t release or watch being released. Geopark was closed, we got our entrance fee back of 120 Taiwan dollar each but doesn’t compare to the amount we paid for the tour. We also couldn’t hear the tour guides explanations or hearing about history/culture as others on the bus talking over her, the guide should be able to control audience on the bus to make it fair for those wanting to listen. We’ve come away disappointed from this trip.
