Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.
Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.
*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Service animals allowed
Public transportation options are available nearby
Specialized infant seats are available
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Car seat required for children 8 years old and under; not provided
The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

This was a great full day tour of Yosemite that included stops at El Capitan, Half Dome, and waterfalls. Kurt was an amazing tour guide whose driving and knowledge were exemplary. The driving bit is important when you’re spending six hours on the bus over twisting and turning roads. The bus was very comfortable and I always felt safe. There are videos on Yosemite and rock climbing to pass the time. The hike down to the sequoias in the snow was a bit strenuous for me, but I’m out of shape and haven’t hiked in years. But I made it and it was well with it to see Big Red. Kurt supplied crampons and water and there are walking sticks for use at the top. I’m sure it’s much easier without the snow. Kurt had boundless energy even though it was a 15 hour day and made sure everyone who wanted pictures taken had pictures taken. I highly recommend this tour if you are in the area and want to see some of Yosemite’s most famous sites.

Friends, you should hope to be lucky enough to have Trevor as your guide. Great energy, enthusiasm and knowledgeable about the park. The videos provide additional context to the park and the rock climbing culture. Great trip!
