Launching from the Ziptrek Treehouse at the Skyline Gondola summit, you’ll zipline down the mountain and take in panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the snow-capped Remarkables mountain range. With three tours to choose from it's fun for everyone - whether you are looking for an introduction into Queenstown adventure, excited by the thrill of the world's steepest tree-to-tree zipline, or taking the plunge on our newest tour; the Kereru, which features a 21 metre drop!

The maximum weight for any Ziptrek Ecotour is 125kg (275lbs). The Kea tour has a minimum weight of 30kg (66lbs).
Gondola tickets are not included in price - we recommend a minimum of 60 minutes to access the upper Skyline complex from the base terminal, or at least 90 minutes in peak times
Please bring an extra layer of clothing year round! Jackets, hats and gloves are recommended. Closed toe shoes are essential (no sandals, flip flops or heels)
Prior to your arrival it is mandatory to complete a Participant Consent Form. The web link to this form will be within your voucher
Youths under the age of 14 years MUST be accompanied by a paying adult (15 years and over) on tour. Those 17 years and under must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over.
If you or anyone in your group has a medical condition or a recent injury please bring this to our attention. Pregnant woman are unable to go on tour.

What To Expect
Ziptrek offer an exhilarating zipline eco-adventure situated 450m (1500ft) above Queenstown. You'll hang out in magnificent treehouses, breathe pristine mountain air and glide through the treetops on a series of ziplines with spectacular views. Your knowledgeable guides will manage everything technical, while you enjoy a thrilling tour with an environmental focus.
Options
Kereru 2-Line + Drop Tour
The Kereru has you flying through the treetops on 2 breathtaking ziplines before finishing with a swooping 21 metre drop! Duration: 1 hour: Duration 45 min - 1 hour
Moa 4-Line Tour
The ziplines start low and slow and gradually gain height, length and speed. Perfect for families and first-timers! Duration: 2 hours: Duration 1.5-2 hours
Kea 6-Line Tour
Longer and faster than our other tours, the Kea has you ending on the world's steepest tree-to-tree zipline, reaching 70kph! Duration: 3 hours: Duration 2.5 - 3 hours

5.00Our Zipline experience was so great. 2 adults 2 kids ages 7 & 8. We did the Moa line, 4 zips and that was enough for the 7 year old who was a bit nervous, but 8 year old thrill seeker wanted more so would do the 6 lines next time for him. Over all great experience, great views, lots of fun and really lovely team looking after us. Will absolutely do this again if we come back down to Queenstown.

5.00We had so much fun zip lining! It took maybe 1.5-2 hours. My only complaint is that it wasn’t longer. I will likely go back and do this again!

5.00Our family of four did the Kea-6-line. We love the entire experience; booking was seamless, both guides Ben and Flynn, were fantastic. The zip lines were excellently setup; we could tell safety was a priority with this company and its guides. Will highly recommend.

5.00The Ziptrek team were great and made the adventure fun, while maintaining their professionalism for safety control and procedure checks. The ziplines themselves were great and fun was had by all of our group of 5. We did the Kea 6-line which was a blast, great views and sipping through the tree canopy. The 15-minute walk between line 5 & 6 was hard on the knees for one of our group due to the terrain - rocky paths and steps (they did offer transport between the two points but wasn't taken up). Something I would recommend for anyone to do, a great few hours that we will all remember.

5.00Thanks for an amazing zipline experience. The guides were supportive, encouraging and informative. The kids loved the challenges and I liked that I stepped out of my comfort zone and did it. I would recommmend Ziptrek to anyone visiting Queenstown.
