Are you looking to explore the gorgeous reefs of the Florida Keys? Are you also looking to go out on a snorkeler friendly boat? Then you've the found the tour for you! On our snorkel-only trips we head out on our 2022 51' catamaran, the Calypso, to the beautiful John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and snorkel two different reefs for 45 minutes at each site. The reefs we visit are no deeper than 25 feet, and the same reefs come up to as shallow as 5-10 feet from the surface in some parts making it perfect for snorkelers - both kids and adults. We visit some of the most popular sites including Christ of the Abyss, Horseshoe Reef, Grecian Rocks, Banana Reef and more daily (weather conditions and mooring space permitting at the dive sites).
Refreshments, chip bags, reef safe sunscreen and ALL equipment are included!

Children under age of 5 years old not allowed on board boat as passengers or snorkelers due to insurance restrictions.
All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to swim. Non-swimming persons will be allowed on the boat as a passenger with purchase of the snorkel ticket but will not be allowed to get in the water.
FULL FACE SNORKEL MASKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Additionally, drones, sea scooters, and weight belts are NOT allowed.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages not permitted prior to or during the tour.
The property and tour boats are non smoking areas.
All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to climb ladder to come back on board vessel after snorkeling.

Welcome to the beautiful underwater world of Key Largo, Florida! We will take you to two gorgeous reef sites to snorkel and provide complimentary chip bags, soda, water, snorkeling equipment and reef safe sunscreen. - Prior to arrival: Complete your boat waivers, gather your swimsuit and towel, and get excited! - Arrival: Check-In begins at 8:15 AM, 11:15 AM, or 2:15 PM. Come say hi at our check-in boutique after parking - Boarding: Board the boat at 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM, or 2:30 PM. Settle in and get ready to enjoy some Caribbean AC - Enjoy a 20-25 minute boat ride out to your first site - Spend 45 minutes snorkeling one of our beautiful coral reefs - Travel to a new location - Hop in to explore a second site for 45 minutes - Sit back and relax as we take you back to the dock for your 11:15 AM, 2:15 PM, or 5:15 PM return time. - Get rinsed off in our freshwater showers and browse our brand new gift shop, or ask any of our Silent World Crew for restaurant recommendations! We hope to see you back soon. *You must be at least 5 years old, able to swim without assistance in water too deep to stand, and able to jump off the boat and come back up the swim ladder with minimal assistance.

Great Snorkeling Excursion to 3 Great Sites

4.00Great excursion! I took my (young adult) niece and two nephews on a Florida National Park trip and wanted them to experience the underwater world of Florida. This was a wonderful way to do it. We had three great stops (shipwreck, lighthouse reef and Christ of the Abyss statue) and saw so much sea life, fish, eagle rays etc. Our captain (Jeff) and first mate were wonderful. Highly recommend this company.

5.00We have a great experience! All the equipment you need is provided including plenty of reef safe sunscreen. There is dry storage for your belongings, and water and snacks complementary on the boat. Our boat was definitely at full capacity, and there was a good amount of people at the dock, but they provide plenty of shade and bathrooms in the waiting area. The boat is maybe 85% shaded, so be ready to board right when they call for you (about 15 minutes after your listed arrival time) to get a shady spot for the 25 minute rid out. The snorkel experience itself was EXCELLENT. Lots of shallow reef with good visibility (at least on the day we went out), we saw tons of gorgeous coral, fish, some squid, an octopus, and even a couple of rays. Our captain got us right next to the Christ of Abyss Statue so that was easy to reach and see as well. I felt like we were in good hands in terms of the captain choosing where would be the best places to stop to snorkel. The staff were a real highlight! Our captain Aaron and first mate Jolisa made the excursion fun, lively, and easy. They played great music for the ride in and out, brought a great energy, and explained everything very clearly. Make sure to tip them via cash or they have Venmo QR codes as well which is convenient. We also spoke with Shelby afterwards and she gave us some AMAZING vegetarian restaurant recommendation for our trip to the Keys which were invaluable. Overall totally worth the cost of admission, we saw everything we wanted to see and had a good time!

5.00My wife and I did the Key Largo’s Snorkeling Legends tour in John Pennekamp State Park in early May. Captain Brad and Ashlyn were a great crew. Appreciate that they brought a jar of petroleum jelly to help seal my mask against my moustache. The water temperature was very comfortable. The Christ of the Deep statue was an impressive sight, as was the sea life at Molasses Reef. A lot of fun and highly recommended.

5.00Great experience. Dry box onboard. Good, clean equipment. Amount of time at each stop was perfect for us. Off season was terrific for less traffic and few crowds. Also meant less wildlife though. Still lots of beautiful fish, coral, and a sea turtle!

5.00We would highly recommend Silent World Dive Center. We did a two site snorkeling expedition from Key Largo. The staff and facilities were excellent and we were properly fitted with equipment and briefed on safety protocols. I liked that they offer life vests that inflate and noodles to make snorkeling easier. We saw lots of fish and felt safe. JoLisa and Captain Jeff were very accommodating.
