Are you looking to explore the gorgeous reefs of the Florida Keys? Are you also looking to go out on a snorkeler friendly boat? Then you've the found the tour for you! On our snorkel-only trips we head out on our 2022 51' catamaran, the Calypso, to the beautiful John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and snorkel two different reefs for 45 minutes at each site. The reefs we visit are no deeper than 25 feet, and the same reefs come up to as shallow as 5-10 feet from the surface in some parts making it perfect for snorkelers - both kids and adults. We visit some of the most popular sites including Christ of the Abyss, Horseshoe Reef, Grecian Rocks, Banana Reef and more daily (weather conditions and mooring space permitting at the dive sites).
Refreshments, chip bags, reef safe sunscreen and ALL equipment are included!

Children under age of 5 years old not allowed on board boat as passengers or snorkelers due to insurance restrictions.
All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to swim. Non-swimming persons will be allowed on the boat as a passenger with purchase of the snorkel ticket but will not be allowed to get in the water.
FULL FACE SNORKEL MASKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Additionally, drones, sea scooters, and weight belts are NOT allowed.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages not permitted prior to or during the tour.
The property and tour boats are non smoking areas.
All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to climb ladder to come back on board vessel after snorkeling.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Welcome to the beautiful underwater world of Key Largo, Florida! We will take you to two gorgeous reef sites to snorkel and provide complimentary chip bags, soda, water, snorkeling equipment and reef safe sunscreen. - Prior to arrival: Complete your boat waivers, gather your swimsuit and towel, and get excited! - Arrival: Check-In begins at 8:15 AM, 11:15 AM, or 2:15 PM. Come say hi at our check-in boutique after parking - Boarding: Board the boat at 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM, or 2:30 PM. Settle in and get ready to enjoy some Caribbean AC - Enjoy a 20-25 minute boat ride out to your first site - Spend 45 minutes snorkeling one of our beautiful coral reefs - Travel to a new location - Hop in to explore a second site for 45 minutes - Sit back and relax as we take you back to the dock for your 11:15 AM, 2:15 PM, or 5:15 PM return time. - Get rinsed off in our freshwater showers and browse our brand new gift shop, or ask any of our Silent World Crew for restaurant recommendations! We hope to see you back soon. *You must be at least 5 years old, able to swim without assistance in water too deep to stand, and able to jump off the boat and come back up the swim ladder with minimal assistance.

5.00We booked a morning snorkel trip with Silent World Dive Center on Jan 11th and had a fantastic time! Both the captain and the first mate were wonderful (unfortunately cannot remember their names). The boat ride was a quick and smooth trip to both of the shallow reefs that we visited at John Pennekamp park. The reefs were very alive and we saw plenty of fish, marine life, and even the famous Christ of the Abyss statue! We brought our own gear, but, the gear they provided looked great and had we not brought gear it would’ve totally been fine. I believe it was around $80 pp and that included all rental gear, with the option for paying an additional $10 for a shorty suit. The boat was clean and had enough space and storage for all passengers who were going out. Next time we plan on booking their 2 tank dive and look forward to going out with them again. Would totally recommend to anyone who wants to get in the water as this company is very professional and amazing.

5.00Fun time. signing in was simple-staff in all the pre-departure areas were awesome and helpful. the Calypso’s captain was fun and funny. the first mate was top shelf and made everything on board smooth. we snorkeled in two different coral reef areas and saw tons of colorful fish and coral. the water was a bit chilly and we rented wet suits (SMART CHOICE!) my group had a great time - highly recommend Silent World.

5.00This trip was one of the most amazing snorkeling experiences we’ve done! The guide (Jolie) and capt of the boat (John) were amazing! They made sure all of us were clear on the instructions. They were taking care of each person in the tour! Very accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend for all levels of swimmers!

5.00Captain Jeff and Emily were great with our group. They answers questions, were patient and even kept our 2 girls company when they decided snorkeling in the open ocean on a windy day wasn’t so much fun. We had a chance to see Christ of the Abyss, jellyfish and lots of tropical fish.

5.00Jeff (captain) and jolisa (first mate and assistant extraordinaire) were awesome. Safety first and they have that completely under control. Both stops were long enough to really enjoy the ocean and see lots of interesting things. Even though there were probably 40 on the boat, it never felt crowded in the water. I had some trouble with my mask and jolisa called me to the ladder, reached in and fixed the problem. Equipment was great. Arrive a few minutes early to avoid rushing. Plan to stay a bit after, sit I. The sun and relax. Winter is tougher water, using the noodle made a huge difference. If going in the winter, be sure to rent a wet suit. TIP!!! TIP!!!
