Are you looking to explore the gorgeous reefs of the Florida Keys? Are you also looking to go out on a snorkeler friendly boat? Then you've the found the tour for you! On our snorkel-only trips we head out on our 2022 51' catamaran, the Calypso, to the beautiful John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and snorkel two different reefs for 45 minutes at each site. The reefs we visit are no deeper than 25 feet, and the same reefs come up to as shallow as 5-10 feet from the surface in some parts making it perfect for snorkelers - both kids and adults. We visit some of the most popular sites including Christ of the Abyss, Horseshoe Reef, Grecian Rocks, Banana Reef and more daily (weather conditions and mooring space permitting at the dive sites).
Refreshments, chip bags, reef safe sunscreen and ALL equipment are included!

Children under age of 5 years old not allowed on board boat as passengers or snorkelers due to insurance restrictions.
All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to swim. Non-swimming persons will be allowed on the boat as a passenger with purchase of the snorkel ticket but will not be allowed to get in the water.
FULL FACE SNORKEL MASKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Additionally, drones, sea scooters, and weight belts are NOT allowed.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages not permitted prior to or during the tour.
The property and tour boats are non smoking areas.
All persons participating in snorkeling must be able to climb ladder to come back on board vessel after snorkeling.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Welcome to the beautiful underwater world of Key Largo, Florida! We will take you to two gorgeous reef sites to snorkel and provide complimentary chip bags, soda, water, snorkeling equipment and reef safe sunscreen. - Prior to arrival: Complete your boat waivers, gather your swimsuit and towel, and get excited! - Arrival: Check-In begins at 8:15 AM, 11:15 AM, or 2:15 PM. Come say hi at our check-in boutique after parking - Boarding: Board the boat at 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM, or 2:30 PM. Settle in and get ready to enjoy some Caribbean AC - Enjoy a 20-25 minute boat ride out to your first site - Spend 45 minutes snorkeling one of our beautiful coral reefs - Travel to a new location - Hop in to explore a second site for 45 minutes - Sit back and relax as we take you back to the dock for your 11:15 AM, 2:15 PM, or 5:15 PM return time. - Get rinsed off in our freshwater showers and browse our brand new gift shop, or ask any of our Silent World Crew for restaurant recommendations! We hope to see you back soon. *You must be at least 5 years old, able to swim without assistance in water too deep to stand, and able to jump off the boat and come back up the swim ladder with minimal assistance.

5.00So much fun! First of all, the entire crew was great. From answering questions over the phone and when we arrived, through fitting the equipment, and on the actual tour itself. I'm a person that would be cold in the water so I rented a wetsuit, and decided to go with a full suit, just knowing myself. Many of you would be fine without a wetsuit or with the shortie. I was worried about the size because, let's be real, my bottom is a bigger size than my top. But they suggested a size, and after tugging it on they were right :). The young lady fitting everyone had the patience of a saint, and was friendly the entire time! JoLisa and Aaron were our crew on the Calypso. (If their parents are reading this, thanks for raising such nice people). Great to see how safety conscious they are. And they were helpful with gear and questions. Snorkeling made me hungry, so it was nice that they had a variety of chips and sodas on board. Plenty of sea-going music and jokes too. We had so much fun that my boyfriend is going again on a longer trip! If you are new to this, give it a try, and know that I was the slowest person getting ready, but made it on board and had fun. Also, while snorkeling, look around you from time to time to avoid bumping into your fellow passengers :)

5.00Facility was so nice and clean, lots of places to sit and hang out! Provided water and sunscreen prior to trip and on the boat. Staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. The snorkeling was amazing we had a calm clear day and saw so many beautiful fish, Captain Jeff and Jolisa were great help on the boat and made the trip fun! Definitely recommend and will be back!

5.00From check in until we left we were impressed with this company! The people that work there are very friendly helpful and know what they are doing. The place you check is very inviting lots of tables and Adirondack chairs with sun or shade everything is clean well kept. The gear they gave was top notch and they spent time making sure we were fit properly. The boat was really well organized clean an looked new the best part was the crew, so fun and helpful with a great sense of humor captain Jeff and rescue diver Jolie really did a good job informing us what to expect and what we needed to do. I just can't say enough about them. They were great, I will definitely use this company again anytime I snorkel at the keys, I have snorkeled many places and can't imagine a better snorkeling experience.

5.00We booked a morning snorkel trip with Silent World Dive Center on Jan 11th and had a fantastic time! Both the captain and the first mate were wonderful (unfortunately cannot remember their names). The boat ride was a quick and smooth trip to both of the shallow reefs that we visited at John Pennekamp park. The reefs were very alive and we saw plenty of fish, marine life, and even the famous Christ of the Abyss statue! We brought our own gear, but, the gear they provided looked great and had we not brought gear it would’ve totally been fine. I believe it was around $80 pp and that included all rental gear, with the option for paying an additional $10 for a shorty suit. The boat was clean and had enough space and storage for all passengers who were going out. Next time we plan on booking their 2 tank dive and look forward to going out with them again. Would totally recommend to anyone who wants to get in the water as this company is very professional and amazing.

5.00Fun time. signing in was simple-staff in all the pre-departure areas were awesome and helpful. the Calypso’s captain was fun and funny. the first mate was top shelf and made everything on board smooth. we snorkeled in two different coral reef areas and saw tons of colorful fish and coral. the water was a bit chilly and we rented wet suits (SMART CHOICE!) my group had a great time - highly recommend Silent World.
