5.00He and his wife participated. The wind was strong that day and the sea water was a little muddy, but I could see turtles up close and it was very cute. There were quite a lot of other fish, too, which was a sight to behold. If you are lucky, you can see dolphins and whales too✨ We made it the type with a Japanese guide, but he was cheerful and good to talk to, which was fun!

1.00It was raining when we got on the boat & it just got worse from there!! They DO NOT cancel for rain!! We were out there in a torrential downpour…. Cold & wet . Did we see turtles, yes but not while snorkeling. We could not even see our feet. Horror!!

5.00My wife Rita and I took the Iruka turtle snorkel tour and we were thrilled! The crew is fantastic! Captain Ryan answered all our questions and put us in a pocket which had clear water while a lot of the water in the area was a bit cloudy from the massive Kona system storms which had hit the area. While our kids are older and not with us, we appreciated the time and rapport Maki had with the kids from several families who toured with us. Her interaction with the kids is exactly what we would have hoped for with our kids when they were little and she made the trip extremely comfortable and exciting for those kids. We don't remember the third crew mate's name, but he was also great, showing us urchins and getting us hot chocolate after the snorkel. Finally, Kristen was absolutely amazing! She put us on so many colorful fish right from the beginning and identified them for us. Then she got us up close to numerous turtles while keeping us at the perfect distance to keep the turtles comfortable so they stayed on the surface for great viewing and pictures. We got wonderful views at the surface and great pictures from above as the turtles dove back down. Kristen offered to take our camera down deeper than we were snorkeling and she took some gorgeous pictures for us of multiple underwater swimming turtles. She also took some great pictures of us in the water and with Diamodhead in the background! To us this was way above and beyond what was expected. As we were heading back to the boat we spotted a baby turtle and Kristen found an eel swimming on the bottom which made for a fantastic finish to the snorkel. To top it off we were treated to a huge pod of spinner dolphins which frolicked along side of and in front of our boat! This snorkel was a highlight of our Hawaiian trip and we highly recommend this tour, the Iruka company and this crew!

5.00We had an amazing time with this team. The staff is super friendly, funny, and supportive. The kids had enjoyed every minute, boat ride, snorkeling and the staff were around us the entire time in the water. I strongly recommend this Iruka and would definately book with them again.

5.00The turtle swim with the Iruka Hawaii Dolphin was the highlight of our trip! The crew (Wylie, Tanner, and pilot Ryan) were exceptional in their knowledge, care of the environment, and care and safety of the passengers. We learned so much and swam with four turtles! Truly unforgettable. We can't say enough about how accommodating the crew was to our requests for pictures of this special trip. Can't recommend this trip highly enough.
