Riding a snowmobile is one of the best activities you can try in Lapland. You can get closer to the beautiful landscapes of the Arctic.

Ice fishing is a unique way to enjoy the natural environment.

Drill the ice of the lake, wait for arctic fish and experience the traditional lifestyle. Surrounded by beautiful nature, enjoy panoramic views of Lappish nature and the sparkling snow-covered lake. If you don't catch any fish, don't worry! Gather with others around the fire, we will prepare grilled salmon for you to enjoy after a long day.

Drivers must have valid driving licenses and be at least 18 years old.

At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays

Please be advised the price is per person - twin driving: means that the person has to share the snowmobile

Remember to take your driving license (or a copy of it) with you on the day of the trip

If the child is 150 cm or taller, he/she can be seated on the snowmobile paying the adult's price

If the child is lower than 150 cm, he/she can be seated on the sleigh

Children under 12 year old must be accompanied by adults paying the full price

Children under 3 years old are not allowed

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Ice fishing equipment

Snowmobile ride: approximately 1 hour

Pick-up and drop-off to our office or selected hotels from Rovaniemi city center.

Guide in English (languages available on request: Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese)

Winter clothes: overalls, boots, gloves and helmet

We chose the Ice Fishing and Snowmobiling experience, and we loved it! Although we didn't catch anything, we learned the ways to drill holes in the ice and fish. We had a delicious salmon BBQ after ice fishing, and finished the day with an hour long snowmobile through beautiful forest. We wouldn't have wanted to snowmobile for longer than we did, we had so much fun, we went fast (safely), but longer wouldn't have added to the experience. Gigi was an excellent guide, picking us up from town and taking us back at the end. We had great chats and learned so much about the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our tour guide GiGi was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, looking after us, cooking our lunch, making sure we were safe when snowmobiling and answering all of our questions. The track we could take was fairly limited due to the time of year. Would definitely recommend Nordic Unique Tours and would tour with them again.

Cancelled my Rovaniemi snowmobile and fishing booking 19 hours before despite accepting it many days in advance, telling us all of a sudden they were fully booked! We flew all the way from the UK, just for 3 nights for my daughter's birthday and it supposed to be a highlight of the trip - ruined experience and one disappointed little girl. Every other similar experience was already fully booked so we ended up with nothing. AVOID!

We were on a small group, so was very nice. The fishing experience was great ( we didn’t catch anything) but drilling the hole and been there was so cool. The snowmobile was awesome, we had so much fun and adrenaline.

The weather was sunny and windless which makes ice-fishing not so torturous but fun. We didn't catch any fishes but seeing our adult children successfully drilling the hole was a great sight and full of fun. It will etch into memory for years to come....nice activity to try once in a lifetime; especially coming from Singapore.

Hard work but great fun trying to drill a hole in the lake for fishing. We didn’t catch anything per our expectations but it was a good experience. The snowmobile ride was excellent and lasted more than a hour going through the forest. Not to be missed!

A great experience to go with the family! The guides are very nice and attentive! The ride with the motorcycles was fantastic! We had no luck with fishing, we will have to return!
