What To Expect
Experience the authentic arctic of Rovaniemi like a local – Drive a snowmobile through the frozen lakes, admire the frosty trees and enjoy the thrill of speed in the Lappish wilderness in Rovaniemi! This easy 2 hour snowmobile safari, departing from Rovaniemi, is perfect from beginners to more advanced drivers alike. Your professional guide will instruct you how to drive a snowmobile, and you will also plan the route and speed according to your wishes. The safari will start by driving on a thick frozen river and goes deep into the forest. The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license – A1, T, A or B category (please check that it is valid in Finland!). Child travelling as a passenger on the snowmobile, needs to be at least 140cm tall and pay the adult price. Child rate applies when child is travelling in a sledge. Please note that if the minimum amount of participants is not filled, we reserve the right to combine the slot times.

5.00Great tour company with lovely guide Dylan (driver) and a local finish guy (for the snow mobiling/ice fishing). The snow mobiling is easy to get the hang of and very enjoyable. It does get cold so wrap up warm. I get cold easily so I wore my coat under the overalls they provided. The ice fishing was great fun and something different to do. Finished off with Ice Karting which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dylan created an open fire which warmed us up nicely after. We ate lovely BBQ sausages which were so tasty but bring food if very hungry.
