Denmark Street
London’s original Tin Pan Alley — where the walls practically hum with guitar riffs. Denmark Street launched legends. The Sex Pistols squatted here, The Kinks rehearsed upstairs, and David Bowie laid down demos just doors away. It’s where punks, rockers and hit-makers all crossed paths in smoky studios and back-alley clubs. Even today, its music shops echo with the ghosts of greatness. On tour, we’ll trace the rebellious roots of British rock right back to where it was born.
Seven Dials
Seven Dials was once the gritty playground for artists before they were legends. We'll connect the dots between hidden venues, vintage record haunts and the rebel creatives who turned this sleepy square into a rock and roll hub. From punk poetry to glam grit, the stories here are as layered as a good double album.

Our private Soho Rock 'n' Roll tour with Nick from Loudman Tours was an absolute joy! He's funny, full of fascinating stories, and clearly loves what he does. Walking through the vibrant streets of Soho with him was the perfect break after days of grand museums and historic sites. Nicks local insights-whether about music history, or quirky London tidbits-kept us entertained the entire time. He is the kind of guide who makes you laugh, learn, and feel like you're seeing the city through the eyes of a friend who knows all of the best stories. Highly recommend!

I recently went on this rock and roll walking tour, and it was a fantastic experience. Starting on Denmark Street, our guide, Nick, led us through London with so much energy and passion. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shared all kinds of amazing, random facts about the city’s music history that you wouldn't get from a book. He was also brilliant about answering all of our questions, making the tour feel really personal. The walk was gentle and relaxed, so it's a perfect pace for anyone. We happened to be on the tour the same day Oasis had a gig, which made the atmosphere on the streets even more electric and exciting. I learned so much and had such a great time. I would absolutely recommend this tour to any music lover—Nick truly knows his stuff! I'm already looking forward to booking another tour with Loudman in the future.

I went on Nick’s Rock and Roll tour of London with work, and it was honestly tour-rific! We spent the evening exploring Soho and I was blown away by how much I learned – I’ve lived in London for years but saw parts of the city I’d never noticed before. Nick was an awesome guide – really funny, full of stories, and clearly knows his stuff. It was the perfect mix of history, music, and laughs. Highly recommend if you want to see a different (and very cool) side of London!

Bowie, Hendrix, Beatles, Stones, Elton, Adele, Oasis plus many more on this fantastic rock ‘n’ roll walk through Soho. Nick’s story telling of the connections to Soho of rock legends from the 60’s to the current day is as entertaining as it is informative. If you love rock ‘n’ roll you will love this tour.
