Seljalandsfoss
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most iconic stops on our South Coast Tour. This breathtaking waterfall cascades from a height of 60 meters, creating a stunning display of nature’s power and beauty. What makes Seljalandsfoss truly unique is the path that allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall, offering a rare and exhilarating perspective. As you explore, you’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of rushing water, creating a perfect photo opportunity and unforgettable experience. Don’t forget to bring a raincoat—this magical moment often comes with a refreshing mist!
DC-3 Airplane wreck - Eyvindarholt
The DC-3 airplane at Eyvindarholt is a fascinating stop on our South Coast Tour, steeped in history. This aircraft, which first took flight in 1944, served the United States Navy at the Keflavík naval base during the 1960s. It played a vital role in transporting people and supplies to the radar station on Heiðarfjall mountain in Langanes, near Þorshöfn in northeast Iceland. Today, the plane stands as a remarkable piece of history and a unique photo opportunity amidst the stunning Icelandic landscape.

10/10 Stars for Anna – The Best Guide on the Southern Coast! We had the absolute pleasure of touring Iceland’s Southern Coast with Anna, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. From the moment she picked our group of six up directly at the cruise terminal—helping with luggage and all—it was clear we were in excellent hands. Anna is a delightful young woman with a level of knowledge about Iceland that far exceeds what you typically get on a tour. She didn’t just drive us from place to place; she shared fascinating insights about the landscape, culture, and history that truly enriched the experience. She also demonstrated fantastic time management, getting us to each site when the crowds were at a minimum—something we greatly appreciated. On the Black Beach, where safety is a concern, Anna personally walked with us, ensuring we were safe and well-informed. She even captured some adorable puffin videos and generously shared them with us afterward! What really stood out was how thoughtful and budget-conscious she was. She knew exactly where to go for the best snacks and made sure we had access to free restrooms throughout the day—small details that made a big difference. Anna gets a full 10/10 stars from us. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our day one of the highlights of the entire trip. Don’t miss the chance to tour with her!

Ana took us around the South Coast, followed by dropping people off at hotels, including going out of the way to drop my wife and me off in Keflavik! She was super friendly, had a fresh perspective, and was super helpful on how to best enjoy our day, and a safe driver on top of all that.
