Enjoy a full day sailing experience with South Sea Sailing around Fiji's Mamanuca Islands onboard our brand new sailing catamaran, SABRE,
Cruise through the Mamanuca Islands with the day's itinerary dependent on the warm tropical breeses and sea conditions, creating a one-off experience every day.
Sabre has large shaded canopies with a range of seating options from bean bags to booths, there is plenty of room to enjoy the idyllic islands and atolls of these beautiful islands. During the day, dine on a gourmet buffet lunch designed by our executive chef with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water all day as well as beer and wine served from lunch time onwards. The rest of the day, make use of our fully stocked bar charged on consumption.

What To Expect
South Sea Sailing offers a brand new 78-foot sailing catamaran. SABRE is the first and only of its kind in the southern hemisphere and provides a full-day experience like no other. This full-day sailing experience will cruise through the Mamanuca Islands with the day’s itinerary depending on the warm tropical breezes and sea conditions, creating a unique experience every day. With large shaded canopies and a range of seating options from booths to day beds and bean bags, there is plenty of room to take in the scenery. During the day, stop and snorkel at abundant, untouched tropical reefs and swim at deserted sand cays. The front of SABRE has steps for ease of access as well as a water slide. Enjoy a gourmet buffet designed by our executive chef as well as complimentary beer & wine (served from lunchtime onwards), soft drinks, and artesian mineral water (served all day). A fully licensed bar including specialty cocktails is available and charged on consumption.

4.00Great ship and crew. Lunch cooked on board was surprisingly very good. One thing to note is there's only one stop on this entire day trip and it's at a sandbar not an island. Still a good day but I was not the only person that thought we were doing multiple stops in the day.

5.00Did this tour on a recommendation of a friend who went in February and was definitely not disappointed. This is such a Professionally run tour with absolutely incredible staff, all fun and beaming with an abundance of personality and willing to help and assist you with anything. The food , drinks and entertainment was all fantastic. Went on Tuesday 24th March and everyone including the tourists were all wonderful and help make it a memorable experience in Fiji which I shall never forget, especially having drinks on the Sandbar 😀
Enjoyable cruise, snorkelling in not ideal conditions & return trip was way too rowdy to enjoy.

4.00We had a free pick up from where we were staying, the boat is huge and we managed to get a great spot on the lounge bed which even had a shade sail which was great, it was lovely being out on the water and the staff was amazing, friendly and saw to your every need, the songs they sung were great! the snorkelling wasn’t in ideal conditions, it was pretty rough and you really had to struggle to compete with the waves, lots of people on board commented on the fact we were swimming against the current which made it hard to enjoy seeing the fish, as you were struggling with the waves to try and swim, plus the guide just kind of went ahead and there were people a fair way behind struggling to catch up, so it’s not suitable for people who aren’t confident swimmers under these conditions, also I felt like the smaller boat should hover around closer to the snorkelling incase anyone wants to go back on board the big boat, a couple we spoke to were struggling to even see the guide and to get their way back to the sand bar, no one snorkelled for very long because it was nearly impossible, the drinks at the sandbar were cool and the slide off the boat and jumping off was fun, the food was really good better than some restaurants we have been to, not sure why the 2 hours of complimentary drinks started at the same time you went to snorkel…maybe something to consider (in saying that because of the conditions we weren’t snorkelling for that long anyway, had the weather been better we would have and therefore not even been on board for the free drinks) The trip back to the port wasn’t pleasant it became really rowdy and too loud to be able to sit there and relax and enjoy the scenery, I’m all for people having a good time but blaring music so loud you can’t even hear the person next to you and drunk people stumbling around really isn’t for everyone, there were children on board and people who didn’t want to be a part of that chaos…consider everyone on board as we have all paid to be there not just the “party people” hence why I have given a 4/5 rating, overall quite an enjoyable day with amazing staff just needs some improvements in parts.

5.00So we went for the off island snorkeling access but the food and drinks aboard were better than what we’ve had at our resort which blew us away! We were greeted with music, met wonderful fellow travelers, had a blissful time in the water and soaked in the scenic surrounding too and from our destination. I personally charter and sail boats myself all over the world and the crew of Saber did a world class job keeping everyone safe, well fed and entertained throughout the experience. Tremendous value for your travel dollar if you like to sail, swim and meet fellow travelers in Fiji.

5.00This excursion was so much fun! We saw amazing marine life during the Coral snorkeling part. Our guide for the snorkeling was knowledgeable and made the experience easy and laid back. Food was also great and the dancing…let’s just say fun was had by ALL!! 💃🏼🕺🏼

5.00This tour was awesome from start to finish. My husband and I have been on dozens of tours and this one is right there on top. Often passengers are packed in like sardines but not this one. The area was spacious, benched seating/tables and covered to shade everyone from the direct sun. The area on the trampolines had oversized beanbag loungers to relax in as we sailed along. We did not expect the food (two meals) to be so yummy! We have never been on a tour where there were ten staff, which meant all our wants and needs were meet. They even played their guitars and sang to us. The snorkelling was good but our highlight was the sand bar. What an awesome experience to be in the ocean and being able to sit on the sand and enjoy a beverage. There was also a slide on board, paddle boards and diving off the boat.

5.00This was hands down the best tour I’ve ever been on in my life in any of the tropical islands I’ve been to. Admission was reasonable, took about 5-6 hours. We loved the snorkelling, delicious lunch selection and relaxing right into the whole “catamaran life” experience, especially the hammocks on the trampoline netting (not to be missed). The “cherry on the cake” was the friendly genuine crew. A special thanks to Layla for looking after us. We hope to do this again one day! Cruise on!

5.00Honestly the best full day sailing experience in Fiji! The boat is beautiful, with plenty of space for sun baking on these bean bags or if preferred to be in the shade lots of tables situated in the undercover area. The crew were extremely welcoming and ensured we had the best possible experience. Snorkeling wasn’t really my thing but enjoyed going down the water slide and the awesome bbq lunch & drinks prepared by the crew. To the Saber Crew - thanks for making it such a memorable experience! We’ll definitely be back again.
