Our kitchen is located in a historic building: a 16th century flour windmill in the heart of Palma de Mallorca which we have brought back to life.
At MOLTAK we celebrate life as reflected in the kitchen. Where the main ingredients are the stories shared as we linger around the stove, appetisers in hand, and set simple tables. Moments that create sparks, that matter, all cooked together with love and a touch of adventure.
Because there has always been a lot of life in the kitchen. A lot of all things good. A lot of joy, a lot to cheer, a lot of flavour, and a lot of laughter. And all that, is what we want to share with you
We love sharing our knowledge for local food, culture and our beautiful island. Participants will elaborate the menu with the help of our hosts. After the cooking session, we will eat together enjoying the best atmosphere and nice wine.
“The most exciting ingredients at our table, are always your stories”.

Vanessa was a great chef/hostess/teacher. Very friendly and accommodating. However my wife is mad at her because “she made me fat.” We had a great time, but it was different than we expected. You should understand that you will not be cooking all the time, maybe about 1/4 of the time. Different members of the party help cook at different times for each dish. This experience is more about enjoying food with the other 7 members of the class. We really enjoyed getting to know everybody and enjoying food and wine with them. Oh, did I mention the wine? The wine is bottomless, so your glass will never be empty. The Windmill kitchen is a great venue, cozy and cool with lots of onlookers peering through the windows to see what’s going on inside. We really enjoyed this excursion and thought it well worth the money.

The cooking class was terrific, the food was delicious. My husband and I laughed and had so much fun. The rest of the class got along super well which made the experience even better. Would do it all over again.

Wonderful experience learning about cuisine from different regions in Spain, preparing dishes from appetizers to dessert (with Spanish tortilla and Paella in between), and then enjoying the meal with new friends and local wine. Venue was terrific (former windmill), location was great, and Vanessa, our host and instructor was superb. Great way to spend a few hours.

A must do! A beautiful place to have an amazing experience. Our host was in love with the food and the process of having us cook and experience the local flavors. Recommend for any age or experience level cooking. Well worth the time and expense.

This was an EXCELLENT activity to do in Mallorca and it was so much fun! The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, and well worth the price, as there were snacks, multiple courses, desert, and unlimited beer, soda, and wine. The cooking class was chill. You’re asked to help with a dish or two — otherwise, you’re drinking eng enjoying the show. I loved the location — it’s in an old windmill but it’s been converted to a sleek kitchen that has a homey vibe. Ricardo was a PHENOMENAL teacher! He was super patient, kind, and extremely fun. I also went solo, but I was welcomed and there weren’t any awkward moments. Overall, this was a 10/10 and well worth the experience!
