Our kitchen is located in a historic building: a 16th century flour windmill in the heart of Palma de Mallorca which we have brought back to life.
At MOLTAK we celebrate life as reflected in the kitchen. Where the main ingredients are the stories shared as we linger around the stove, appetisers in hand, and set simple tables. Moments that create sparks, that matter, all cooked together with love and a touch of adventure.
Because there has always been a lot of life in the kitchen. A lot of all things good. A lot of joy, a lot to cheer, a lot of flavour, and a lot of laughter. And all that, is what we want to share with you
We love sharing our knowledge for local food, culture and our beautiful island. Participants will elaborate the menu with the help of our hosts. After the cooking session, we will eat together enjoying the best atmosphere and nice wine.

What To Expect
Our hands-on cooking experience in a historic building: an old flour windmill from the 16th century that we have brought back to life. Aprons on, we will dive into our culture cooking all together a 5 dish full menu on a journey all around our country and back to Mallorca. Through our kitchen, we will travel to different parts of Spain, taste traditional flavors and discover the secrets hidden in the preparation of the culinary icons of our culture. Vivan, Ricc, María or Luís, will guide you into the “classic” of every home and the tricks our mums and grandmothers use in the kitchen. Tasty easy to make recipes that you can take home so you can surprise friends & family: local "sobrasada" appetizer, the authentic "tortilla", tradicional "paella" and "Catalan cream". All cooked with loats of love and a pinch of adventure! We turn the process into a fun, team working and accessible session, so that our guests enjoy their time together and feel secure and able to repeat the menus back home. After the cooking session, we will sit together at our big dining table and experience the love for the emotional, social and festive component of the Mediterranean table

5.00I had a great time. Riccardo was easy going and included everyone in the meal prep. He made it easy to have fun. We were all able to get to know each other a bit in a short period of time. The setting in an old windmill was just icing on the cake. A very unique experience indeed. The food tasted wonderful and I’m hoping to try the recipes he gave us. Thanks for the experience Riccardo!

5.00There was a group of six of us plus another couple that did the 6pm class and it was fantastic. Great setting in an old windmill. Vivian was warm and inviting chef. We made dessert, traditional tapas and paella. Highly recommend it.

5.00This was the most perfect excursion and an all around great experience! The instructor (I think his name may have been Ricardo, but I cannot 100% remember. He was a 26 year old of both Italian and Spanish descent) was charismatic and managed to make everyone in the class feel like one big family by the end of class, despite being from different places across the world. The food was delicious and we were given pamphlets with the recipes for each dish we made, so we could recreate them at home. The instructor also shared cooking tips and Mallorca cuisine history along with stories about his own life which enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend this excursion!
