Enjoy an authentic cooking class in a local cooking studio with host Lola, who has dedicated a big part of her life to marketing, organizing events, restoration and decoration of country houses, translations and even theater production. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture over food. Your cooking class will take place in a cooking studio where Lola will teach you how to make 2-3 traditional Spanish dishes from her family recipes. After cooking, you will enjoy your meal together in your host's cooking studio.

What To Expect
Discover the authentic taste of Spain in the heart of Madrid! Immerse yourself in an exclusive, unique and super fun tapas and paella cooking class guided by a professional chef passionate about Spanish culture and cuisine, Lola. In your shared Madrid cooking class you will learn to cook ham croquettes, black rice (paella), Russian salad, and "ajoarriero style" cod in an private and cozy gastronomic space, conveniently located just 2 minutes from Pacífico metro station, line 1. The cooking studio has a large, open and modern kitchen with enough space for everyone to cook at the same time and participate actively. In addition to cooking, you will taste each of your creations while enjoying some good wines, all drinks are included! No prior cooking knowledge is necessary, just bring a lot of enthusiasm, and an appetite to learn! So, if you love cooking and want to experience Spanish gastronomy, Madrid is the ideal place and this cooking class is perfect for you.

5.00Our cooking class with Lola was amazing! She taught us so much about cooking as well as Spanish culture and we made delicious food! It was such an enjoyable evening for our family. Lots of wine was flowing and it was just a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere! Would highly recommend this class!

5.00Lola is lovely and her course was fantastic. Not only did I learn how to create 3 great dishes but I learnt a whole lot of local ways and traditions in the meals we prepared. I always love those attached stories and as such toast with olive oil and grated tomatoes has become on of my favourite things and I think of Lola every time I have that to eat! Lola is so fabulous that when I said I’d love ve to come back when next in Madrid, she said she’d do a different menu. Thanks Lola….I just need copies of the recipes which I’ve misplaced. Have paella pan from you but need to cook in it 😂

5.00Lola is an exceptional chef and teacher! We made two kinds of tapas, a fish entree, and paella—our reason for taking the class. Her teaching style is fun, informative and thorough. I feel ready to go home and make these dishes for my friends and family! Every dish was absolutely delicious, we learned a lot about Spanish cooking in different regions, and had an incredible amount of fun! I highly recommend any cooking class offered by Lola—when I return to Madrid I will take another cooking class with her.

We’ve travelled quite a bit in Spain over the years, and we enjoy cooking (and eating) Spanish food, but we leaned some new techniques that we will definitely use when we get home. Lola was a joy - in addition to providing the recipes and information about the ingredients and instructions, she gave us some great general information about the Spanish culture and ideas about other places to visit in Madrid. A great value and it was also great to dine on the food we prepared.

She was super personable, well prepared, and full of great cooking tips that made the Spanish delicacies easy for even the most basic cook. The facilities were well stocked and the kitchen was very clean. We highly recommend this activity. She can customize a perfect session for you to suit your needs and desires. Best croquettes we’ve ever had….and we made it ourselves!
