You’ll practice espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art step by step under the guidance of an experienced local barista.
During the workshop, you will explore how local beans are transformed through Western espresso techniques in today’s café scene. You won’t just make drinks; you’ll understand café workflow, quality control, and the cultural exchange shaping Vietnam’s contemporary coffee culture.
With dedicated practice time in a private workshop space and personalized instruction, this experience is ideal for coffee lovers, curious beginners, digital nomads, couples, and travelers seeking a deeper, skill-based cultural activity in Hanoi. You’ll leave not only with new barista skills, but with a true understanding of Vietnam’s evolving coffee identity.

I really enjoyed the class. Alex was super friendly and told us a lot of interesting facts. The practicing of the latte art was so fun. We have been a small group (just my husband and I) which was perfect to practice in a calm atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

It was a great experience. First, we got a general introduction to the differences of coffee beans and the influence of the grind etc. After that we could try 3 times ourselves.
