A rare sunset sailing adventure aboard our 35-foot sailboat, Luna: small group, local captain sharing hidden stories, hands-on sailing, wildlife encounters, and unforgettable vistas of San Diego Bay. Participate or sit back and enjoy breathtaking sunset views of the city's skyline and waterfront attractions as we sail among tall ships, mega-yachts, and military vessels. Watch for playful sea lions, dolphins, pelicans, and maybe even a whale. Look to the skies for pelicans, ospreys, and other marine birds.
We invite you to celebrate a special occasion with your partner, family or group and capture the moments in breathtaking photos.
No sailing experience is needed for this family-friendly outing, but participation is welcome. We love sharing our knowledge and experience.

What To Expect
We depart from Safe Harbor Marina on Harbor Island, adjacent to the San Diego Airport, and raise sail on the calm waters of San Diego Bay. Get hands-on or sit back and enjoy breathtaking views of iconic attractions.
Enjoy spectacular views as your fun-loving, informative captain shares his knowledge of sailing and San Diego. Look to the skies for pelicans, ospreys, and other marine birds.

5.00The captain was so nice and took us on a perfect cruise of the downtown bay for sunset. He pointed out some cool San Diego monuments but also sat back and let us listen to music and relax. It was amazing, definitely recommend!!!

We booked a sunset sail out on the bay and it was exactly what we all needed to unwind and connect while we were in town for a conference. It was a small group and we ended up having the boat to ourselves. Highly recommend booking this tour and supporting a local small business!

5.00This is a super fun experience and a wonderful way to see the bay area. I particularly enjoyed sailing passed the military vessels and learning more about what they are for. I also enjoyed seeing the different types and sizes of boats in the bay. We saw a wedding taking place, a marriage proposal, a boat with live music, and lots of people enjoying friendship and the beautiful sights! Captain Larry was very knowledgeable and very skillful! (and hard working!) We learned a lot about sailing. I have to admit; I may have been somewhat unrealistic in my expectations. I was planning to sit on top of the boat and basically float through the harbor. However, as this was a windy day, the sails needed to shift direction (tack) quite frequently, so it really wasn't possible to just sit up front. There were five ppl plus the captain in our group. I would not want to take any more ppl than this or the space would get pretty tight. The boat is beautiful, Captain Larry was awesome and it was super fun!

5.00Such a good time. We got to driver the boat and adjust the sails as much as we won’t, but could also just relax on the fri t of the boat whenever. Captain even asked if we would like to say out longer! 10/10
