Welcome to Ishigaki!
I’m a native English speaker who’s built my life here, finding both peace and community on this beautiful island, and I want to share that same feeling with you.
What makes my tour different from others? It’s private, flexible, and personal.
Whether you want to see the famous sights like Kabira Bay or dive deeper into the quieter, hidden corners only locals know about, I’ll tailor the experience to your interests.
Think of this as a homey, one-on-one journey where your curiosity sets the pace.
Ask me anything about the island — from its history and culture to its food and folklore — and I’ll help you leave with a real sense of belonging here.
By the end of our time together, my hope is that when you walk down Ishigaki’s streets or snorkel in its ocean, you’ll see it not just as a visitor, but as someone who has truly felt the heart of the island.

A wonderful spot where you meet Ishigaki's famous pineapple queen. She will serve you two variations of pineapples, fresh cut from her farm. These pineapples represent the verities that can be found here on Ishigaki. You can take them to go, or you can eat them there while enjoying the nice view of the ocean.

I enjoyed Steph’s personal tour of Ishigaki Island. She was super flexible in terms of transportation and even picked me up at the airport. She then reviewed the itinerary and was willing to make changes based on my preferences. It was a good combination of different aspects of the island, from local vendors, scenic spots, and historical spots. She was passionate about discussing the past/current culture of Ishigaki Island as a whole, not just a tourism destination.

I am so pleased I booked a tour of the island with Steph during my holiday to the beautiful island of Ishigaki. The communication from Steph before the trip was excellent as she asked what my interests were so she could tailor the trip, and gave advice on what to bring along for the day. Steph is very knowledgeable and it was lovely to learn more about this beautiful place which has so many great things to see and explore. Having a guided tour meant I had the opportunity to see some lovely hidden gems during the day and learn more about the history of the island. Steph is super friendly and enthusiastic so I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with her. She was even so kind as to send me restaurants ideas for the reminder of my trip. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with her & I feel very lucky to have visited Ishigaki and explored the island.

I had an incredible time with Steph! I was traveling solo in Ishigaki, and booking a tour with her on the day I arrived made my trip absolutely perfect. She picked me up from the airport and curated a personalized 4-hour tour based on my interests, helped me pick up food, and dropped me off at my hotel in the evening. We hiked the beautiful Yarabudake trail, visited the Oganzaki lighthouse, explored a local market, stopped at a local eatery for dinner, and I really enjoyed learning about Ishigaki’s history through her stories during our drive. I also loved her thoughtful local food recommendations. Steph is truly a gem—I highly recommend booking with her!

Stephanie was great. We had a wonderful adventure with her. She took us all over Ishigaki. What a beautiful place to visit. We never would have been able to find our way around without her as our tour guide. She was so considerate too, very easy going and flexible. We enjoyed her happy demeanour. She was knowledgable about the Island and we learned so much from her. Make sure you bring a water bottle with you it was very hot there. Comfortable shoes are a must too. There’s so many amazing things to explore.
