Our tour is a must do on a visit to St Andrews. Of course, it's the home of golf in Scotland, but there's much more to see around town. A centre beaming with long-time locals, students from all over the world and even royalty! When walking around, you get a sense of the traditions that have been held for over 800 years, as well as modern Scottish town life all at once.

Learn about it’s history as you walk in the footsteps of 8th century witches, university traditions and golfing legends who stepped foot on the same cobbled streets, as well as modern life in the town today. Great tour with Ken in the last week of October 2025. He was clear, articulate, intelligent, well informed and gave a wonderful walk around St. Andrews, showing us the sites, answering our questions, and delivering the history.

Fiona, our tour guide was amazing, full of knowledge & enthusiasm & kept the group engaged and interested for the duration of the tour. In fact, I think we were so chatty & engaged, our tour was slightly over time (not complaining as we had so much fun). Whilst I have visited St Andrews on many occasions over the years, I learned so much on this walking tour. I would highly recommend!

Not on th etour but visited hte town with relatives. Great vibrant town but quite different than other university cities.Lots of individual shops and walking areas. Well spread out with the town, the ruins and the shoreline.

Jenny - a local master student - did a fantastic tour, telling us all the ins and outs about St. Andrews, its monuments, buildings and the university with many of its traditions: great to have a glimpse beyond ChatGPT or the tourist guides.

Jenny was a great tour guide. She had an engaging way about her. Loved the info on the traditions of the young students at university. Brought the history alive and showed us the notable places.
