St Andrews Fishing Village also the home of St. Andrews University. St. Andrews has the history of the first golf course. We enjoyed the best Fish and Chips and saw where Prince William met Kate Middleton. Tour guide Michael did a wonderful job o f the tour.

We had a lovely day and an amazing lunch at Tom Morris on the 2nd tee. Our driver made reservations for us. Get the crump roast and grilled onion ciabatta sandwich. Plan to golf “The Himalayas,” an 18 hole putting course, open to everyone, they have loaner putters. Lovely town. Loved stopping at Faukland, dance music midday. I’d recommend this trip.

Pleasant drive up to St andrews. I felt it was just the right amount of time there to see the golf course, castle, cathedral ruins and the university. Also had time for a quick lunch. The short stops at little villages were nice. Our guide Brian was very pleasant and entertained us with stories and a music play list he made that related to things on the trip.
