If you are arriving by cruise ship, you must reach out directly to the tour operator with your ships name and port times! Not all times will work with our schedule. No refunds will be offered on the day of departure if your times don't fit with ours..

What To Expect
Join us on an all-inclusive, Semi private sailing experience, Just for You! We sail with a maximum of 6 guest. There is no end to what you can see while sailing with Virgin Islands Day Sailing. Join us as we explore the most breathtaking locations around the Virgin Islands. Create timeless memories as you experience spectacular sailing destinations with those you love. Full day excursions depart from our slip in Sapphire Beach Marina, St. Thomas at 9:00 am with a return around 3:30. Enjoy the sights and our open bar as we sail. Our destination will be the St. John National Park and the picturesque surrounding cays. You will have the chance to discover why many say that St John offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming locations in the Virgin Islands. We usually try to hit two different locations with a fresh grilled lunch served between stops. Our locations will be picked based upon the wind, weather and crowd conditions. Our goal is to stay away from the stops that are frequented by the cruise ship excursions. Please contact us directly for private or custom tours.

5.00Kendall is a great sailor and was good about choosing sites we hadn’t already visited. It’s nice to really sail on a snorkeling trip. The small size group makes this a special experience.

5.00After doing quite a bit of homework, we chose this particular excursion because we wanted the experience of sailing, and we wanted a longer day on the water. We are so glad we did! Kendall was our captain, and he was fantastic! The day we were originally scheduled was overcast, so he called and suggested that we move to the following day. He gave us his cell phone and asked us to let him know if we had any questions or concerns. We arrived a few minutes early, and he told us everything we needed to know. My husband and I are beginning/intermediate snorkelers and we were on the boat with other passengers who were actually certified divers. It didn’t matter at all! The snorkeling equipment was excellent. The fins were large and the masks were in great shape and not scratched. We sailed all day, going to two wonderful sites. Kendall said he chooses the locations based on the weather and water visibility. He was kind, informative, and fun! After experiencing a smaller group with such a personal and accommodating captain, I can’t imagine anyone choosing a larger boat with more passengers. Kendall, we will see you again when we return! Thanks for making it such a great day!!

5.00Captain Kendall was absolutely amazing!! 💜 we also had the pleasure of having Captain Addison on board making us the BEST drinks! Rum punch and painkiller’s were very tasty!! We snorkeled 2 different spots - Lovango Bay- where we saw sting rays, lemon sharks, so many varieties of fish and coral (this was our favorite)! Then onto Christmas Bay - which is actually one of the Epstein islands, where we snorkeled a ship wreck, tons of sea turtles, fish and coral. Being on a sailboat is a whole new level of relaxation! Not to mention, lunch was super yummy too! Highly recommend!! 💜🏖️
