Please be at the meeting location at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time. Time listed are departure times. If you miss the sailing there will be no refund.
If you are arriving by cruise ship, you must reach out directly to the tour operator with your ships name and port times! Not all times will work with our schedule. No refunds will be offered on the day of departure if your times don't fit with ours..

What To Expect
Join us on an all-inclusive, Semi private sailing experience, Just for You! We sail with a maximum of 6 guest. There is no end to what you can see while sailing with Virgin Islands Day Sailing. Join us as we explore the most breathtaking locations around the Virgin Islands. Create timeless memories as you experience spectacular sailing destinations with those you love. Full day excursions depart from our slip in Sapphire Beach Marina, St. Thomas at 9:00 am with a return around 3:30. Enjoy the sights and our open bar as we sail. Our destination will be the St. John National Park and the picturesque surrounding cays. You will have the chance to discover why many say that St John offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming locations in the Virgin Islands. We usually try to hit two different locations with a fresh grilled lunch served between stops. Our locations will be picked based upon the wind, weather and crowd conditions. Our goal is to stay away from the stops that are frequented by the cruise ship excursions. Please contact us directly for private or custom tours.

4.00Great sail, comfortable boat, great captain, clean restroom. Snorkeling was ehh (no control of the captain of course). Lunch was great but we weren't offered any type of snack or non-alcohol beverage on our way to the sites. Rum punch was excellent and was served after our 2 snorkel sites.

5.00Kendall is the man, great captain and excellent host. Snorkel spots were amazing, great fun sailing from spot to spot as we learned so much history regarding the islands, lunch was excellent, as were the frequent beverages, only downer was we only booked one voyage instead of several.

5.00I had such an amazing experience, I went three times during my stay, and honestly, if I were in town longer, I would’ve gone again. The first trip was captained by Captain Stewart (hope I’m spelling her name right) with Christian as crew. From the start, I felt completely safe and well taken care of. We saw turtles, stingrays, and all kinds of beautiful fish. The vibes were great, the crew had wonderful personalities, and everything felt easy and relaxed. My second tour was on Christmas Day, captained by Jake, with Nick and Christian as crew. It was just as incredible and so much fun. Jake is a character in the best way, and the whole day was filled with laughter, great energy, and beautiful snorkeling spots. We saw turtles, sharks, squid, a million fish, and starfish, the most creatures I have seen on a snorkel trip. The third trip was led by Danny Boy, Noel, and Christian. This one was at full capacity, but they were more than up for the challenge. Danny did a fantastic job sharing stories about the islands and added a special touch with his music playlist, which really set the tone for the day. Also, hands down the best lunch I’ve ever had on a boat tour. The presentation was beautiful, and the food was fresh, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. It felt carefully prepared, not like an afterthought, and really elevated the whole experience. Each trip felt special in its own way, but what stayed consistent was how well the crew knew the best snorkeling spots and how they treated everyone like VIPs. It’s the perfect balance of chilling, sailing, snorkeling, and learning — never rushed, never crowded. Christian deserves an extra special shoutout because she worked all three trips I went on. It is no small thing to work the boat, guide snorkeling, serve lunch, and somehow still make amazing Painkillers with a smile. She’s a rockstar. And the icing on the cake, they picked me up right at Sapphire Beach Marina, literally steps away from my room. The convenience alone made the experience even better. I will absolutely do this trip again (and again). If you’re even considering it, don’t hesitate. It's the best one out there without a passport.

5.00What a great day! With just 6 guests, it’s basically a private tour. Addison was awesome - great snorkeling locations, stories, showing us different points of interest and making us delicious drinks and lunch. We would definitely do this day trip again!

5.00Captain Kendall was the ideal host for our family of 6 sailing adventure today in St Thomas. He took us to two good snorkeling spots where we saw turtles, rays, coral and lots of fish. We had an excellent lunch and great drinks on the boat. It was our daughter-in-laws first time snorkeling and she loved it. We will remember this adventure as a family forever. Thank you Captain Kendall!

5.00We have booked several snorkeling charters in St Thomas/st John. They're all great and this one was no exception. Addison was our solo captain and crew and was fantastic. Give that man a raise or part ownership. From the second you meet him it's like he's been your best bud since grade school. All around great dude. The weather made for some choppy sea and low visibility in one area but we didn't care. The other passengers, Addison and ourselves felt like a big family going on a day sail. Lunch was great, drinks flowed, stories abound. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Price is steep and seems to be going up year after years which is disappointing (blame the boat owner) but the experience itself was one of the best.

5.00Captain Kendall was the best. Perfect sailboat for our family of four, smooth and safe ride, and he knew a ton about St. Thomas and the nearby islands. We snorkeled three different spots and saw tons of fish, sea turtles, and stingrays. Bonus: great cocktails and a seriously delicious grilled chicken lunch. Highly recommend Kendall and this tour!

5.00Fantastic experience, exceeded expectations!! A total one man operation, captain was funny, knowledgeable and a great bartender. Drank painkillers, saw underwater shipwrecks and swam with many sea turtles, planning to do it again next year. 10/10
