What To Expect

A warm welcome to our beautiful island of St Lucia, where your dream becomes a reality. After you exit the plane and into the building, you will go through the immigration and customs process, when you done, you will now head to your chauffeur, who will be in the waiting area holding up a sign with your name. You will be greeted by your chauffeur and escorted to your private sedan. Your chauffeur will carefully handle and pack your luggage. After you will be driven in comfort, enjoying light snacks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages while marveling at the scenery on the way to your resort. Your chauffeur will ask for permission to stop at one of the best view points with a wow view for you to take some photos. Same applies for departure, please confirm pickup time with your chauffeur.

Overall both pick up and drop off went smoothly. However, there was a huge discrepancy in the type of vehicle that picked us up upon arrival versus the one that picked us up to leave the island. The second vehicle was very uncomfortable as the seats had no cushions. No champagne was offered for either ride as shown in the picture, but snacks, water and beer was provided upon our arrival.

Kevin was our driver round-trip for the trip, and he was great excellent driver, funny in car tour guide, and on time! It was fairly easy finding the island taxi stand upon exiting baggage/customs. They called the driver we waited no more than 5 min and had time to use the washroom. We were given snacks and water when while we briefly waited for the driver. Kevin stopped at a beautiful lookout area for us to see the view and take pictures.

Someone met us directly after customs and directed us to our car service kiosk. The agent called a driver and in less than 10 minutes we were headed to our resort.

Great private transfers to/from the airport. The drivers were friendly. They were informative and very personable while still allowing us to talk amongst ourselves. A cooler with beer in the car was also nice for the long ride at the start of the vacation.
Not the experience we thought we had booked.

We booked and paid in advance for transfer from the airport to our hotel and then a return transfer the next day to the port. Given the reviews, we were expecting and organized transfer and a superior experience. Not the case. The good: none The not so good: We were told that at the airport to meet for our ride at the booth present there. There are many ride, taxi booths present at the airport. We had great difficulty finding the correct one. It had none of the company names displayed that we had on our reservation documents. Once we found the correct booth, the person there could not help us. They were just "baby sitting the chair" for someone else. About 30 minutes later another gentleman came. He looked us up and told us our reservation had been cancelled. We did not cancel our reservation; and we had a confirmation with payment in advance. They eventually found us a cab to take us to our destination. This was not the Private Transfer package we had booked. A very disappointing start to our visit. We had also booked and anticipated the transfer the next day to the port. With the help of the wonderful people at the place we were staying, we secured a more reliable ride. Out of courtesy, we called this company and notified them of us not needing their services further (they had already cancelled our reservation anyway). A refund was requested. They refused the refund. We appealed it through Tripadvisor (we booked it through this site). Only a partial refund was eventually offered; even though we received none of their services, and they incorrectly had cancelled our reservation. Based on our experience, I recommend people look elsewhere for transportation; and definitely don't pay for it in advance. Book a ride when you get to the airport. We had a number of very good ride experiences just booking it ourself while in St Lucia.

We had a lot of questions regarding St Lucia, the culture, safety and more. Kevin our driver happily answered them all and educated us. He kept checking to make sure we were doing okay throughout the drive with the winding roads. Made sure we had water and snacks. Also, kept us laughing and entertained for the 1.5 hour ride to our resort. Which made the tide seem shorter.

The vehicle we traveled in to the hotel was very poorly maintained, which made the hour-and-a-half ride quite uncomfortable. It was far from a luxury experience. However, our driver was very kind and accommodating, and I appreciated his professionalism. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this service unless they significantly improve the condition of their vehicles. The picture pictured is very misleading.
