  Such a great experience! Duncan has so much knowledge and passion for this project, and shared so much with us. The stories are fascinating and the collection of materials is very impressive!! The info was presented in a way that held our interest and made us want to know more. We ran into several people on subsequent tours, and highly recommended this one to them!

  My mum and I went on this walking tour today and it was fantastic. Completely absorbing and delivered with insight, humour and panache by Duncan our guide. I’ve lived in Bristol for 26 years and never knew about the secrets hidden below the market and the symbolism of the carvings on the facades of some of Corn Street’s grandest buildings. It was a fascinating and very enjoyable way to spend two hours. And Duncan’s passion for the subject really came across, I learnt a lot, including a story of some canine heroism! The artefacts that have been curated really bought the period to life and I would recommend this tour to anyone generally interested in history, Bristol or World War Two history. Fabulous!

  Well informed guide. A very interesting presentation pleasantly delivered with some humour. It brought to life one of the most interesting periods in the history of my home city.
