  Great SUP session with Duane. Due to the choppy waters in the sea, we ended up in the Plantations Lagoon, which was a nice easy ride for inexperienced paddlers like us. He went through all the basics at the start, making sure we were happy before we set off. You can tell the quality of instruction as neither of us fell in the water, which was a small miracle in itself. Thanks again and next time we will hopefully be seeing you on the bioluminescence tour you do!

  Duane is absolutely amazing instructor. Very patient, laid back and my first time ever on a paddle boat was so much enjoyment. He made me so comfortable that on way back we were chatting about the island, world travel and different new water sports to try. Total 11/10😊!

  The Bioluminescence tour with standup paddle tour Tobago is now one of most memorable events we will be talking about years to come. Cannot believe this amazing gem has always been right there in all the years we’ve been in Tobago and just now discovering it. Many many Thanks to Duane Kenny and his amazing staff “Z” for capturing a magical night in just a few hours. Presentation and organization was flawless. They are very attentive to everyone’s needs and questions throughout the tour. Tour begins at Radical Sports Tobago, where orientation and safety briefing took place. Then an average of 1 hr paddle or kayak to the lagoon through no man’s land and then back. Duane was very informative, knowledgeable and at times very entertaining which only enhanced a spectacular experience. Thank you again Standup Paddle tour Tobago 🇹🇹 will definitely recommend and re visit. Kelly & Svet. 🇨🇦

  

• Stand Up Paddle and Turtles!!!

  We had a wonderful time - I improved my stand up paddle board skills and my friend Carolyn learned to kayak. We were out for a couple of hours, traveling along the coast and then out to Nylon Pool and back to starting point. Duane was incredibly patient and very helpful - even rescued my sunglasses when I took my single spill crossing some rougher water to get to Nylon. We learned a lot about the creatures living in the water, saw lobster, a variety of fish, rays, and even pet a sea slug. The turtles were the highlight of the excursion, and boy did we see a lot! Once you know what you’re looking for you notice their heads coming up first air all around you. I highly recommend the Turtle Tour. It is so worth getting up early, and getting the hang of paddle boarding wasn’t too bad - got to feel fairly comfortable. I started on my knees for a bit and did go back to knees for the final bit to shore as the wind really picked up with a brief rain. Duane took photos of us while out - so happy to not have to try that while SUP. When done, Duane made sure we knew the area and took us to get our passes for Pigeon Point. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience Duane!!!

• Perfect for solo female travelers

  I had the time of my life! Duane was a patient and skillful tutor and had me standing up in the first few minutes of our session. This experience was the perfect addition to my solo trip to Tobago. He was knowledgeable about the marine life and was able to point out and name many fish along the way. I was a first timer and a bit nervous to try but after ten minutes I felt confident to make it through the session. I would definitely book this experience again in future.

  Duane was great, knowledgeable about conditions and the island and clearly cares about people having a good experience and the island's nature. We went to petit trou lagoon. The conditions there were excellent for paddleboarding (Duane chose based on the conditions), we saw pelicans, frigates, and a host of other birds, jumping tarpons, and had a go at paddleboard surfing at the end with some helpful tuition and advice. Great trip. Would recommend booking with him. Cheers Duane

  Duane was extremely professional and knowledgeable about not only paddleboarding skills but the ecosystem/wildlife in Tobago. Truly enjoyed my expeirence and reccomend it to everyone who has the time while visiting.

  This was a highlight of my trip, I had never paddled boarded before and so was a little nervous. Don’t let it put you off! Duane is a great teacher. I saw so many turtles and other beautiful wildlife but honestly just being out in the water in those beautiful settings would have been worth it. It was a really memorable morning and I would recommend it to anyone.

  We had a really great time with Duane ! We did a family lesson with my ten year old son. I haven't mastered the turn so we will be back! I encourage you to take you to take a lesson next time you are in Tobago!

  Cannot say enough good things about Standup Paddle Board Tobago, and Duane in particular. He was a great teacher - clear, thorough, patient and especially good with the 8yo in our party. Did I mention patient? He did a great job transitioning us from the "on land" orientation, to "in water" practice, to on the water free paddle. We especially appreciated how well he kept an eye on the entire group while focusing on the kid - gently correcting his form and making sure he saw cool sea life (sting rays!) Highly, highly recommend!
