What To Expect
High Street
Stroll down the High Street of Oxford, famous for its view of the dreaming spires and specialist local shops. Described as 'one of the world's great streets', you'll have the opportunity to take snaps of picturesque scenery, and see the colleges and more.
University Church of St. Mary the Virgin
This Anglican church is well-known for its elegant spire, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful in England. Gargoyles and statues surround the spire, and parts of the church's stained glass windows are from the Renaissance era. Founded over 500 years ago, the church was the site of the heresy trials for the Oxford Martyrs in 1555. Visitors to the church can find Cranmer's Pillar, which commemorates the martyrs of the Reformation period.

5.00We took this tour on the 6th of May this year and we are really glad we did. Chris was a brilliant guide. He was funny, engaging and was a treasure trove of interesting facts. We had our teens with us and he made it fun even for them with his Harry Potter stories. The tour was short but he was able to cover a lot of things including hidden spots that we would have definitely missed.
A wonderful walking tour with Leonardo—insightful, lively, and filled with fascinating hidden corners. Excellent!
