Unspoiled, incredibly beautiful and steeped in stories of Maori legend, Stewart Island is well worth this informative introduction. There is plenty of time to get off the bus for photo stops and short walks along the way. Highlights include the Rakiura National Park entrance at Lee Bay, Halfmoon and Horseshoe Bays and views of Paterson Inlet from Observation Rock.

3.00My tour was cancelled because the driver was sick but I wasn’t informed until getting there, which was a bit annoying as I took the ferry especially for the tour. Still I was moved free of charge to the Ulva Island Explorer and that tour was really good :)

5.00With husband on a cane, walking was kinda out of the question! This tour around Oban was just the ticket! Our driver/guide was informative and charming. Several tour stops broke up the drive and, as it was a rather warm day, the van's A/C was lovely!
